Video Shows Tiger Woods Golfing With Dwyane Wade Day Before Crash

Just a day before his car crash on Tuesday, Tiger Woods was in California teaching retired NBA star Dwayne Wade how to play golf.

Hours before the accident became news, Wade shared an Instagram video of himself out on the links with Woods.

"So, I told y'all I was about to do something amazing today and I got an opportunity—I say, the G.O.A.T., he's not comfortable with it—but an opportunity to come out here with this guy right here, man. Tiger, thank you for teaching me something. How good am I or how bad am I?" Wade asks in the video.

A wide-smiling Woods confirms that Wade is just "good," which Wade admits is not entirely the truth. "Alright, we're getting better," Woods jokes.

"So everybody be on the lookout. I got some lessons from who I think is the G.O.A.T., Tiger Woods. Thank you, brother. Appreciate it," Wade continues.

The video stems from a golf lesson that Woods gave to Wade on Monday for a Golf Digest and GOLFTV project. Intended to be a two-day shoot, Woods helped Wade and other celebrities (including David Spade and Jada Pinkett Smith) learn the game at California's Rolling Hills Country Club. Although Woods—who was recovering from his fifth microdiscectomy surgery on his back—didn't hit any balls, he offered the trio and others tips to improve their games. Golf Digest confirmed on Tuesday that Woods did not make it to the golf course on the second day of shooting.

Spade shared photos of the day on his Instagram, too. "Don't you hate when you go golf somewhere and they pair you up with someone you don't know @golftv @golfdigest," he captioned the post.

Pinkett Smith also teased her lesson with Woods on Twitter. "Guess who I had the most awesome golf day with yesterdayyyyyy??? Yes! The magnificent @TigerWoods !!!! Yes ... I can't wait for you to see my golf journey with Tiger. Stay tuned! dreams come true @GOLFTV @GolfDigest," she wrote.

Within four hours of sharing her photos on social media on Tuesday, Pinkett Smith shared another message about Woods, after learning of his accident.

"Prayers up for the GOAT @TigerWoods who was in an accident this morning. Was just with him yesterday. Don't take not even a MOMENT for granted! I know you're good because your Tiger within is a beast!!!" she wrote.

Woods was hospitalized after he was involved in a vehicle rollover accident in Los Angeles. His agent, Mark Steinberg, confirmed to the Associated Press that Woods endured multiple leg injuries and is currently listed in surgery at a local hospital.

Before giving celebrity golf lessons for the Golf Digest and GOLFTV's project, Woods was in California to host the PGA Tour's Genesis Invitational, which took place over the weekend.
