Viral Video of Woman Stepping Out of Amazon Delivery Van Viewed 10M Times

A TikTok that has amassed more than 10 million views has left people speculating about what took place in a delivery van.

The short video, which has racked in more than 700,000 likes on @patrickhook01's TikTok account, featured a woman leaving an Amazon delivery van and walking away as she exchanged a backward glance to the person standing in the van. The person remained standing in the van's doorway for a beat before shutting the doors closed.

"Amazon be different," the video caption read.

More than 20,000 comments flooded in, many speculating about what the two could have been doing.

"What a gentleman he walked her to the door," one TikTok user wrote.

Another viewer questioned what prompted patrickhook01 to begin recording the video.

Some cracked jokes about their own orders taking longer than expected to be delivered.

"Be doing everything but delivering packages on time," one viewer wrote.

Commenters also took the video as an opportunity to crack some suggestive jokes about the popular delivery service.

Another wrote, "She got that prime deal."

"Amazon is taking over every industry," another comment read.

Another wrote, "Wow Amazon does everything now."

Others commented and said the person in the truck maybe let go if the employee's boss views the video.

"[Dude's] probably getting fired cuz of this vid," one viewer wrote.

"You can't get away with anything in this century with all the technology lmao," a commenter wrote. "Dude is definitely getting questioned or getting fired."

"Best and last day working at Amazon," another comment read.

A few other commenters echoed the same sentiment, and some shared genuine concern over that possibility.

"Uploader gets a few likes," one commenter wrote. "The public blows this out of proportion. The poor fellow gets shamed and cannot support his family anymore. Social media!"

Maria Boschetti, an Amazon spokesperson recently told Newsweek that the driver no longer delivers packages for the company.

"This does not reflect the high standards we have for our Delivery Service Partners and their drivers. Allowing unauthorized passengers to enter delivery vehicles is a violation of Amazon policy, and the driver is no longer delivering packages to Amazon customers," the representative said.

Numerous bizarre viral videos have made their rounds recently, leaving viewers amused.

In early October, Newsweek reported on another viral TikTok in which a woman outlined her "worst first date" story.

In her video, which has garnered more than 18 million views, Elyse Myers explained she accepted a date from a man who messaged her on a dating app.

Things turned south when she picked him up and he gave her directions to Taco Bell and subsequently ordered 100 hard-shell tacos. However, Myers paid for the meal because her date said he forgot his wallet.

Upon returning to his house, Myers, her date and her date's father sat at the kitchen table and ate in silence. When her date's father began talking to her, Myers decided it was time to leave.

Newsweek reached out to patrickhook01 for comment.
