Virgin River Season 4 is streaming now on Netflix, and sees two new cast members join the hit drama.
The Netflix show might already have plenty of drama thanks to Mel's (played by Alexandra Breckenridge) questions over who the father of her child is. But the two new characters also look set to bring further complications to the town of Virgin River.
The new characters are a physician who sets the town's hearts a flutter, and an estranged family member of a main character who comes to Virgin River with a dark secret.

Mark Ghanimé—Dr. Cameron Hayek
As suggested by the name, Dr. Cameron is the Virgin River clinic's new physician, described as "dashing" in his Netflix character bio.
With brains to match his beauty, the character seems to be the perfect package—and quickly grabs the attention of the women of the town.
Playing Dr. Cameron is Lebanese-Canadian actor Mark Ghanimé. So far, his biggest role was in Syfy show Helix, where he was the third lead, Major Sergio Balleseros. Other recent roles include a recurring part as Dev in Freeform's The Bold Type. He has also starred in Lifetime Christmas films Candy Cane Christmas, Twinkle All the Way, Always and Forever Christmas and Christmas with a View.
Ghanimé has been celebrating his new role on Twitter, writing: "SO excited for you to meet #DrCameronHayek and to be a part of this great show and lovely fanbase!"

Doc Mullins (Tim Matheson) is set to face a family reunion in Virgin River Season 4 as his long-lost grandson turns up at the town, having first been teased at the end of Season 3.
As is the case with many strangers to Virgin River, the character is hiding a secret—no spoilers here, but it certainly brings drama to Season 4.
Appearing as Denny is Kai Bradbury, whose biggest role to date was as Gerit Buttonwood in Freeform's Motherland: Fort Salem. The Canadian actor (of Japanese and Scottish descent) has also had bit parts in The Boys, The Terror, Supernatural and The Man in the High Castle.
In a recent PureWow interview, the actor revealed he initially audition for another role in the show. He said: "I auditioned for Markian Tarasiuk's role as Lizzie's L.A. boyfriend that we meet in Season 3. Shortly after that, I got my audition for Denny."
Virgin River Seasons 1 to 4 are streaming now on Netflix.
