Woman's 'Perfect' Hack for Sand-Free Beach Trip Watched Over 9 Million Times

Going to the beach is one of life's great pleasures, but the downside is that sand can get everywhere and scratch at your skin as you sunbathe. However, it doesn't have to be this way.

Why? Because one woman on TikTok has shared her impressive hack for making sure you can lounge about without those pesky granules covering your possessions—and it has been viewed more than 9.4 million times.

Posting to the app on June 5, a TikToker by the name of Rachel Austin showcased her impressive set up which uses a fitted sheet and a bucket of water.

But what exactly does the method entail? Well, Austin has turned the elasticated sheet upside down, and laid it out on the sand, using baskets and bags in the four corners to ensure the sides stay upright.

In the middle of the makeshift structure is a clean towel, which she accesses by first cleaning her feet in a bucket of water which is next to the sunbathing area—so clever!

To make her set-up even more ideal, she has also erected an umbrella for some shade while lying in her sand-free sanctuary.

Austin captioned her video, which can be watched here, writing: "Sand free beach set up! #hack #beachhack #momhack #beachvibes."

The ingenious method has attracted more than 1.5 million likes, and many people have rushed to the comments section to share their praise for the idea.

One TikTok user, Morgan, wrote: "This would be perfect since we hate sand."

Another person, Yomamadukes, added: What?!?! Fitted sheet?!? and water bucket for feet? Why haven't I thought of this genius idea?"

Kira tagged her friend in the post and typed: "We need to bring a sheet in two weeks!"

However, the hack was lost on one TikToker who hilariously asked: "Ok, but where do you get the water source to fill up that bucket with water?"

To this, Austin bluntly responded: "The ocean."

TikTok is awash with many other useful tips and tricks to make life a little easier, including a video showcasing a method that for ensuring that your leftover pizza is as good as freshly cooked, and it involves a dash of water.

Tara Ippolito posted the hack on August 12, along with the caption: "Don't knock it till you try it."

Her tactic involves steaming the slice so the cheese is nice and hot, and it has a crunchy, not soggy, base.

One mom recently shared her tip for eating the pineapple without using a knife, claiming we have been doing it wrong our entire life.

All it apparently takes is some rolling, pounding and bashing, then segments come away in your hand—sounds simple enough!
