Although crease-covered linen doesn't look very fresh, not all of us have ample time to iron our bedsheets.
A woman on TikTok has shared her alternative way to remove those unsightly lines, and it involves a rather surprising ingredient.
Australian mom Carolina McCauley, who has more than 7.2 million likes on the app, recently posted a video, which can be watched here, on how she makes her "No Iron Spray."
The clip, which was shared to TikTok on September 4, begins with McCauley, who lives in Perth, filming her bed which is covered in a mustard-colored wrinkled duvet.
She then shows how she makes the savvy spray, which includes two cups of water, a quarter cup of fabric softener, then, and here is the clincher, a quarter of a cup of rubbing alcohol.
Next, McCauley instructs viewers to "spray linen" then "smooth over with your hands."
After the spray has dried, she shows a much smoother duvet, as text overlaying the footage reads: "Goodbye wrinkles."

The mom also explained: "Rubbing alcohol is isopropyl alcohol. You can find it in the health and beauty or first aid aisle."
According to textile specialist Hafco the alcohol is an important addition because it "allows the liquid to evaporate faster off your sheets."
Additionally, website Healthline explains that the substance can be used to clean blinds and jewelry, as well as remove stains and even banish odor from shoes.
The TikTok creator has caption the video of her life hack, writing: "Wrinkle release spray #homehacks #homehackswithcarolina #bedroominspo #hometips."
Since the clip was posted on it has gone viral online, having surpassed 119,800 views. It has attracted nearly 6,000 likes.
Many people rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts on the clever trick.
One TikTok user, Symplybroken, wrote: "Thank you! Just bought a new comforter and it has so many wrinkles. So trying this."
Another person, Madeline Neavez, added: "Love it!! Probably smells good too!"
Forouzan Soltavi typed: "Wow great thanks."
Some were unsure as to the method's effectiveness, including Cayla who wrote: "But where did the wrinkles go because I still see them."
To this, McCauley replied: "It's not the same as ironing but it still gets the job done."
TikTok is awash with many other tips and tricks to make home life a little easier.
Recently a woman shared a brilliant idea for reusing old sponges by making them into ice packs.
Internet users also loved this hack to organize kitchen cupboards using just a baking sheet and some tape.
