Is Han Solo about to be mentored by the same man that tutored The Hunger Games' Katniss Everdeen?

Woody Harrelson, who wrapped a four-movie stint as drunken mentor Haymitch Abernathy opposite Jennifer Lawrence in 2015, is reportedly in talks to play mentor to a brash young Han Solo in Disney's next standalone Star Wars adventure.

The Hollywood Reporter said that the search for the role also included The Dark Knight actor Christian Bale.

The Lego Movie directors Chris Miller and Phil Lord are helming the Star Wars prequel—which takes place before 1977's A New Hope—for a 2018 release.

Hail, Caesar! actor Alden Ehrenreich has been cast as young Han Solo, taking over the role from Harrison Ford, who—spoiler alert—was killed off in the latest sequel, 2015's The Force Awakens.

Donald Glover will star as a young Lando Calrissian, the role played by Billy Dee Williams in the original films.

Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke has been cast in the lead female role, but no further details have been revealed about her character.

And, yes, Chewbacca will be in the film, too.
