The 6 Worst Celebrity Halloween Costumes of 2021

Halloween in the age of social media has become synonymous with celebrities and their extravagant costumes.

For 2021's spooky season, a plethora of stars treated fans to elaborate get ups and ostentatious photoshoots.

However, not all celebs put in that much effort, so while there are many amazing ones—looking at you Rihanna and Harry Styles—there are also a few flops.

Here's a light-hearted look at some of the more questionable celebrity costumes of Halloween 2021.

Miranda Kerr (Flight Attendant)

Model Miranda Kerr and her husband, Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel, went as a pilot and a flight attendant for Halloween this year and it's nothing special.

Taylor Swift (Squirrel)

Taylor Swift's choice of costume was similarly lacking in creativity but also looked super comfortable.

The Rock (Himself)

The Rock did not go all out for Halloween this year and instead went as himself.

On Instagram, the former WWE star shared a picture of himself posing with the director of his new movie Red Notice, Rawson Thurber, who wore a Paw Patrol outfit.

"Neither one of us - surprisingly - did not win the costume contest tonight," he wrote.

Kendall Jenner (Corpse Bride)

While Kendall Jenner absolutely nailed it as the Martian Girl, her take on Tim Burton's Corpse Bride was arguably lacking the magic of the character.

Mitt Romney (Ted Lasso)

Mitt Romney channeled everyone's favorite soccer coach for Halloween this year.

"Warming up for Halloween weekend with the grandkids," he wrote on Twitter on October 28. "As @TedLasso says, "Your body is like day-old rice. If it ain't warmed up properly, something real bad could happen."

But the Republican didn't quite quite find the top corner with his take on the Jason Sudeikis character.

Justin Bieber (Bear)

Justin Bieber's bear costume this year was a little underwhelming, and just looked like a big onesie.

Despite some flops, there were many excellent costumes donned by celebrities this year, with many people declaring that Reservoir Dogs star Steve Buscemi is the "winner" of Halloween this year.

The 63-year-old actor dressed up as himself as the iconic "How do you do, Fellow Kids?" meme from 30 Rock while handing out candy to trick-or-treaters in Brooklyn, New York.

Some other celebrities with the best Halloween costumes of 2021 include Ariana Grande as Creature from the Black Lagoon, Chloe Bailey as Lola from Shark Tales, Harry Styles as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz and Cardi B as Morticia Addams.
