Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has turned down an offer from the Chinese Super League to remain at Emirates Stadium, according to reports.

Wenger, 67, is out of contract at Arsenal at the end of the season and has yet to sign a new deal. His position at the club has come under increased scrutiny in recent weeks, after Arsenal lost the first leg of its UEFA Champions League last 16 tie against Bayern Munich 5-1 at Allianz Arena.

But The Mirror reports that Wenger has rejected an offer worth £30 million a year from an unnamed Chinese Super League club that would have made him world football's highest-paid manager.

Wenger though, could still be on his way out of Arsenal in the summer. He has managed the club since 1996. Arsenal plays Liverpool at Anfield in Saturday's evening game in the English Premier League.
