Who Was Eliminated From 'The Challenge: USA' Last Night?

Two more contestants were sent home from The Challenge: USA on the fourth episode of the season titled "Liberty and Justice for All."

The CBS show features a cast full of reality TV stars, including familiar faces from Love Island, Big Brother, Survivor and The Amazing Race, but on the July 27 episode it was the Big Brother contestants who were at the center of the drama.

The Challenge: USA, hosted by T.J. Lavin, sees TV stars like Xavier Prather, Cashay Proudfoot, Kyra Green and Danny McCray take part in a series of physical challenges for the chance to win a $500,000 prize.

As the weeks continue, more and more players are being eliminated from the game. Last week saw Tasha and James get sent home, but which The Challenge: USA contestants are still in the running after Episode 4?

Newsweek has everything you need to know about Episode 4 of The Challenge: USA and who didn't make it.

What Happened in Episode 4?

Episode 4 of The Challenge: USA began with players taking on one of T.J. Lavin's favourite challenges—trivia. While hanging over the ledge of a 30-story building, contestants had to answer questions correctly or face a long fall down while strapped to a bungee cord. Contestants played in pairs, which were decided by "The Algorithm" that continues to mix everyone up each week.

Once the pairs were announced there seemed to be some drama among the former Big Brother stars in the game, as Alyssa was seen telling Derek that the best thing for their chances in the game would be for their Big Brother season 23 co-stars Xavier and Shan to go. The four players were close while on Big Brother last year, but it appeared that the determination to win The Challenge: USA was stronger than those bonds.

At the end of the trivia challenge, David and Justine were unable to answer a question about the National Hockey League and were told that they were being sent straight to The Arena. Kyland and Alyssa won the game after being able to name most of the zodiac signs.

As the winners, Kyland and Alyssa chose which pair would play against David and Justine in The Arena, eventually opting for Xavier and Shan.

In The Arena, the two teams were told they would be playing a game called "Smash In, Puzzle Out." Their task was to crawl through tunnels, breaking panes of glass along the way to retrieve puzzle pieces. The first team to finish constructing their puzzle with the pieces would win. The challenge was made extra tricky by the fact that each teammate was responsible for breaking specific panes and if they broke the wrong one, a five second penalty would be added.

Once the game had begun, Xavier ignored the warning about the five second penalties and decided to break all the glass panes. Xavier and Shan therefore managed to collect all the puzzle pieces quicker than David and Justine but the 50 second penalty meant that in the end they were the losing duo. David and Justine were able to construct their puzzle more quickly.

At the end of the episode, Xavier and Shan said their goodbyes and left the show. David and Justine will continue in the competition.

The Challenge USA continues Wednesdays at 9/8c on CBS.
