'The Flash' Season 7 Netflix Release Date: When It Will Be Streaming?

Barry Allen has been through quite a lot this season, having been cryogenically frozen and meeting his children in some time-jumping. For those who have not been able to catch the show on The CW, it comes to Netflix in the not too distant future.

The legacy contract with Netflix means all content from The CW is available on Netflix to stream after it airs, and then remains on there for five years.

Ahead are some spoilers for the seventh season of The Flash.

When Does The Flash Come To Netflix?

The most recent season of The Flash arrives on Netflix on July 28.

This is just eight days after the finale of the seventh season airs on The CW.

The entire season will be available to watch from this date, however, some regions, such as Canada, will receive episodes weekly.

All seasons of The Flash are already on Netflix, and the upcoming eighth season will also be released on the platform.

It is expected, as is the case for the seventh season, that Season 8 will be released on Netflix eight days after the finale airs on The CW.

The legacy contract with Netflix also means all of The Flash will remain on Netflix until 2026, so fans have plenty of time to binge-watch the previous seasons before delving into the most recent one.

Season Seven of The Flash Explained

1 of 5

The Flash's seventh season is as bombastic as the last, with new heroes from the multiverse and different times coming out of the woodwork.

Ahead of its airing on The CW, a press release revealed how Barry and company would be dealing with some of their most formidable opponents yet.

It read: "After a thrilling cliffhanger which saw the new Mirror Master victorious and still-at-large in Central City, The Flash must regroup in order to stop her and find a way to make contact with his missing wife, Iris.

"With help from the rest of Team Flash, which includes Caitlin Snow, Cisco Ramon, Ralph Dibny and Nash Wells, as well as the Flash's adoptive father Joe West, meta-attorney Cecile Horton, tough cub reporter Allegra Garcia and brilliant tech-nerd Chester P Runk, Flash will ultimately defeat Mirror Master.

"But in doing so, he'll also unleash an even more powerful and devastating threat on Central City: one that threatens to tear his team, and his marriage, apart."

That powerful threat turned out to be Godspeed, whose drones threaten to bring about the Godspeed Wars.

Through jumping forwards and backwards in time, Barry met his children, Bart Allen and Nora West-Allen, who are both speedsters who have come up against Godspeed in their timelines.

For Bart, he hates Godspeed for killing his idol, Jay Garrick, while Nora had success imprisoning him for a time.

However, using the Mirrorverse we saw from the beginnings of the season, duplicate Godspeeds are sent back in time to wreak havoc on Central City.

The true Godspeed, August Heart, has superspeed but cannot remember his true identity, and the team at S.T.A.R. Labs try to help him track down his memories, so they can figure out a way to stop the drones.

Of course, after having watched the previous seasons, time jumping and Mirrorverses are par for the course on The Flash.
