What Time Will 'Forza Horizon 5' Be Playable on Xbox Game Pass?

After an early access period, Forza Horizon 5 will soon be launching for all Xbox Game Pass subscribers.

The racing title, which incidentally serves as a phenomenal Mexico tourism simulator, did launch on Friday, November 5. However, this was an early access period reserved exclusively for those who bought the Premium Edition of the game. So, if you were wondering why so many Twitter users were sharing mouth-watering screenshots over the weekend, now you know how they got a hold of the title before its global release date.

For those who have ordered the standard edition of Forza Horizon 5 or are waiting for it to appear on Xbox Game Pass, it will finally be available to play on Tuesday, November 9. The launch window will be different for every region, as it goes up at one minute past midnight in each respective time zone.

This technically means that the game is already out in places like New Zealand, which is 18 hours ahead of New York. Some excited fans have even figured out how to cheat the system a little and have managed to convince their next-gen consoles that they live in the Oceania continent, just so that they can play a little earlier.

If you want to do this (which is not strictly recommended in case there are any issues) then you just need to head into your language and location settings on the Xbox and then reset your device.

Otherwise, if you would rather wait for the North American launch, then just hang tight until 12:01 a.m. on November 9. This will be the same if you are in an ET or PST time zone.

In terms of file size, the Xbox One port will take up 116 GB of your storage, while the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Steam versions will all be 103 GB.

Once you are finally exploring Forza Horizon 5's jaw-dropping recreation of Mexico, make sure to check back with Newsweek for guides that will help you get the most out of the experience. At launch, Forza Horizon 5 is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PC. It is also featured as part of the Game Pass service.
