The Granny horror game dev, just dropped a brand new update for the game that added more hidden spaces and an extreme play mode. But the most baffling of the changes seem to be new objects in the game that players must use to escape the house of horrors. One object that has been particularly perplexing is the new Teddy Bear. What exactly is this child's toy used for and where can you find it in the game? We've covered these questions and more in our complete walkthrough of the new update posted below. 'Granny' Game Update: Teddy, Backyard, Slenderina and Other New Features Explained

As mentioned, the latest Granny update brought a ton of new features including Extreme Mode, new backyard area, and objects.

Extreme mode

In this mode, players experience Granny at her most terrifying as it is characterized by these gameplay changes:

• Granny moves faster than you
• Two extra locks on the main door
• Darker mode is turned on

New Items To Find

There are several new items to find in the game, some of which must be used to find tools and keys for unlocking the main house door and making your escape. Here are all the objects we know about right now. Explanation of how to use them is further down in the post. We will keep updating this list as we find more.

What Does Teddy Do In Granny Game? How To Find And Use The New Item

Teddy has a couple different functionalities in the game. The first is that it allows you to hear Granny coming. You can hear her heartbeat when she is near as long as you are holding Teddy. The second functionality is to reveal a Slenderina Easter Egg in the game. Below we've listed steps for finding Teddy and how to use it to call Slenderina.

How To Find Teddy In Granny Horror Game

• Go upstairs to the closet that joins two rooms.
• Look for the boxes blocking the secret pathway and push them aside.
• Enter secret passage and go down first flight of concrete stairs.
• Enter second landing with the additional boxes covering another hidden room. Push the boxes out of the way.
• Enter the hidden closet full of shelves.
• Look up in one of the top corners of the closet and you'll see a light brown circle on the wall. It appears to be some kind of wooden peg.
• Focus in on the wooden peg till the hand icon appears. Tap the hand to interact with the peg. It will cause a false wall to push outward, revealing a new hidden passage.
• Inside the hidden area, you'll see more shelving with a Teddy Bear on it.

How To Use Teddy To Call Slenderina

• At the end of the upstairs hall is a door to go up to the sewing room with the clothes mannequin. Head up there.
• There is a room attached to this one that is blocked with wooden planks.
• Remove the planks to enter another room with a desk and a baby crib.
• Place the Teddy in the crib. You will see Slenderina appear.

Granny's Yard & House Walkthrough: New Locations in March 30 Update

Granny's house got some new spaces and pathways -- the most significant being her yard. Here's a breakdown of how to get to Granny's Yard and a walkthrough of everything to do there.

How To Get To Granny's Yard

• Go to the dining room.
• On one of the windows, you'll see a red handprint.
• Press on the window to open it and climb out into the yard.

Granny's Yard: All Objects and How To Use Them

Once you step through the window, you'll see Granny's yard surrounded by a high wooden fence with barbed wire at the top. Here are a few of the objects in the yard:

• Playhouse: Directly ahead of you is what looks like a garden shed, but it's a playhouse with a little porch on it. There is a padlock on the door. You'll have to find the key in one of the many hiding places in the house. We have all places you can find objects listed here. Once you get it open you'll find a weird machine on the wall that will need the Cog to function. Once you use the cog on the machine a small door will open where a key or other object will be hidden.
• Wooden Box - Next to the shed you'll see a long wooden box. You can climb in it to hide from Granny.
• Bell: On the wall to the left of the window is a bell attached to a string (like the one in the front hall) that runs along the ground. You'll need to avoid walking over this so you don't alert Granny, or she'll come through a locked door around the side.
• Well: Further down the room you'll see a well. It requires you to find a winch handle to use it. Hidden tools or keys are found in the bucket down the well.
• Guillotine: Past the well you'll see a guillotine. The guillotine will be used to cut open the melon once you find it. A key will be hidden inside the melon.
• Small Office/Room: Walk past the Guillotine and Well you'll see a small room with a wood plank door. Inside you'll see a small kind of office with a desk and lamp, wall shelf and a wooden pallet over a spot on the floor. On the desk, you'll see design plans for the guillotine. Slide the pallet to reveal another hidden area.

• Hidden Area- go down the stairs of the hidden area and there is a long hallway. At the end of the hall is a room with a table.
  • Secret Message - The table has a piece of paper or wood with writing on it. It tells the story of another of Granny's prisoners. They end of the message says "I have noticed she sometimes hides things inside of fruit." This is a clue to use the guillotine to cut open fruit.
  • Passage to Basement - If you look around the hidden area room, you'll find another passage blocked by a wooden pallet. Push it out of the way to reveal a secret pathway to the basement.
