Internet Debates 'Disney Adults' After Woman Crying in Disney Goes Viral

A recent video went viral on social media of a woman seeing Cinderella's Castle at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida has caused debate on the internet.

In a video posted to Tiktok, a woman who goes by @jordan.jacee shared her emotional reaction on seeing Cinderella's Castle for the first time. Since it was posted a few days ago, the video has already been viewed over 1 million times and has over 177,000 likes.

"Que the ugly crying. First time seeing Cinderella's Castle in Magic Kingdom thank you @annadotee for the most unforgettable trip ever," she captioned her video.

With over 10,000 comments, the video sparked debate on the topic of "Disney adults." Some people think it's odd that grown people are obsessed with Disney while others say argue that if it makes them happy, then let them be happy.

Users commented their thoughts on how it's just a building.

"I'm so scared of Disney adults," @Ava wrote.

"Miss...you're kidding," another Tiktok user questioned her reasoning for crying.

"it's literally a building that is so ordinary they use forced perspective to make it look bigger l," one user said.

"I don't understand Disney adults. Grow up it's not a big a deal in MY OPINION," @Kenja commented.

"this is a little dramatic," one wrote.

Others defended her emotional reaction and understand why she is so happy.

@Elocin questioned the hateful comments, "Damn y'all don't let anyone enjoy anything huh?"

"You're forgetting not everyone was lucky & privileged to go to Disneyland frequently as a kid. let's let ppl live their dream no matter the age," @Damian wrote.

"i'm sorry but for some people this literally is a DREAM, a childhood dream let her happy cry," @Jade explained.

"These comments are not it. I'm a happy crier too and your unabashed joy definitely just brought me some joy! Hope it was a fun trip," @Shelby commented.

"women get horrifically bullied for liking OUR childhood things, but if a man cries over the new spider-man movie that's allowed and ok," one user pointed out.

@Carly added, "nah i get it if it's your first time seeing it. some people dream of going to disney as a kid and never get to, so it's exciting to finally get to go!"

"I'm sorry this found the wrong side of tiktok. We Disney adults believe in allowing ourselves to feel joy in the magic," @Haley wrote.

"Everyone here is so mean, just let the woman be happy," @Em explained.
