The beacon of justice in the society of My Hero Academia, All Might is the most powerful hero in the world. For years, All Might has helped fend off threats to the Earth from villains but his time as a hero is almost up after suffering a near-fatal blow during a battle with a powerful villain. On the search for a successor, All Might finds a powerless Izuku Midoriya - who is on the base Jump Force roster - and gives him his power. The story of My Hero Academia largely revolves around Midoriya learning to use All Might's massive power as his own, enabling him to become the number one hero in the world.

All Might is the second confirmed DLC fighter for Jump Force. The fighting game with a roster of manga/anime characters from Shonen Jump was released in February. Prior to release, Bandai Namco announced that a Character Pass for $29.99 and will include nine playable DLC character with four days of exclusive early access to those who buy it. The Character Pass also gives new abilities an costumes for avatar customization.

Each character will be sold individually upon release. Seto Kaiba from the Yu-Gi-Oh! series is the first confirmed DLC fighter and is set to drop in May.

Back in February, a data mine revealed the identity of the nine DLC characters before their official reveals. The data mine from SergioM3 revealed that the following characters are planned for a post-launch release:

  • Kaiba (Yu-Gi-Oh!)
  • Biscuit (Hunter x Hunter)
  • All Might (My Hero Academia)
  • Bakugo (My Hero Academia)
  • Madara Uchiha (Naruto)
  • Law (One Piece)
  • Buu (Dragon Ball)
  • Toshiro Hitsugaya (Bleach)
  • Grimmjow (Bleach)

That data mine is looking more and more credible as Kaiba and now All Might have been confirmed.

Curiously, there were four other characters found in the data mine that could be future DLC after the first character pass. The data to these fighters could also just be preliminary plans for their inclusion before being scrapped.

  • Hyoga (Saint Seiya)
  • Shun (Saint Seiya)
  • Kenpachi (Bleach)
  • Byakuya (Bleach)

Whatever the case now it's just a waiting game to see which fighter is next to join Jump Force.

Jump Force is available now for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
