Kim Kardashian Declares She'll Love Kanye West 'For Life' Amid Divorce

Kim Kardashian revealed on Tuesday that things remain amicable with estranged husband Kanye West, when she took to Instagram to wish him a happy 44th birthday.

The reality star-turned-entrepreneur—who shares children North, seven, Saint, five, Chicago, three, and Psalm, two, with West—also used the occasion as an opportunity to declare that she'll love her ex "for life."

Kardashian, who filed for divorce from West in February, posted a throwback snap of herself and the musician aboard a private jet with three of their four children.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star captioned the snap, taken before their youngest son Psalm was born: "Happy Birthday... Love U for Life!"

She also took to her Instagram stories to share an image of West as a child, as well as shots of the stars and their children during happier times.

Additionally, sister Khloé dedicated an Instagram post to West, sharing a photo of herself and her partner Tristan Thompson posing with the former couple in the ocean during a previous vacation.

She wrote: "Happy birthday to my brother for life!!! Have the best birthday Ye! Sending you love and endless blessings!!"

While a representative for Kardashian confirmed to Newsweek in February that the star had filed for divorce from West, she has largely declined to publicly discuss their split.

However, in a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which was filmed prior to news of the divorce, it was explained that she was "struggling" behind the scenes amid the breakdown of her marriage.

Her sister Khloé told viewers: "Kim has been struggling privately behind camera about her relationship and it's tough because Kim is clearly redirecting so much of her frustration and sadness and anger.

"And, you know, sometimes you just take things out on something that has nothing to do with what you're going through."

During the episode, which aired last week, it was also revealed by Khloé that the couple got into a "big fight" before the family flew to Lake Tahoe, California.

Kim—who is based in her native California while West now spends much of his time in Wyoming—was seen saying: "I honestly can't do this anymore. Why am I still in this like, place where I'm stuck for years?

"Like, he goes and moves to a different state, every year, I have to be together so I can raise the kids, you know?"

Going on to brand West an "amazing father", she added adding that he deserved a wife who would travel with him and support his every move.

The pair—affectionately dubbed Kimye by fans—exchanged vows in a lavish ceremony in Florence, Italy, on May 24, 2014. It was the third marriage for Kardashian and first for West.
