Kylie Jenner Confirms She Won't Be Attending Tonight's Met Gala

Kylie Jenner has announced that she will not be in attendance at tonight's Met Gala in New York.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, the makeup mogul, 24, shared a series of throwback snaps of her previous Met Gala looks - including her naked Versace gown from the 2017 ball and her orange, feathered dress by the Italian fashion designer from 2019's event.

She then went on to announce the news, writing: "I'm so sad I couldn't make it this year. I can't wait to see all the looks."

It comes a week after Jenner revealed she is expecting her second baby with boyfriend Travis Scott, whom she reunited with earlier this year. The pair share 3-year-old daughter Stormi Webster, who also featured in the sweet reveal video.

Although the reality T.V. star has not cited the reason for her absence, her siblings are sure to be in attendance, with Kylie's older sister Kim Kardashian sharing various posts about the illustrious event.

Kendall is also currently in New York and a regular feature on the Met Gala red carpet, so it is highly likely she will grace the steps once again this evening.

Over the past week, Kylie has been in the Big Apple with her sisters, celebrating New York Fashion Week.

Jenner made her Met Gala debut in 2016, when she donned a stunning floor-length, embellished gown by Balmain.
