Lady Gaga Releases 'Dawn of Chromatica' Remix Album - and Fans Are Here for It
Lady Gaga is back with her new album, but it is not quite as new as it may seem. Dawn of Chromatica is a record of remixes from Chromatica, which was released in May 2020.
The singer has recently been performing jazz and piano music, alone in preparation for her two-week Las Vegas residency and alongside her collaborator Tony Bennett.
Gaga has shown she can put her hand to almost anything, from pop to jazz and club anthems - and fans have been champing at the bit for the arrival of the Dawn.
What Is Dawn of Chromatica?
Dawn of Chromatica is the new remix album from Lady Gaga, which features a huge number of new artists adding their stamp to her previous songs.
The new album has almost the same songs as the first, with some subtle changes.
On the original Chromatica album are three instrumental tracks, all named after the album itself.
These have not been remixed, and the final track, "Babylon", has been twice remixed to equal 14 tracks in total, compared to Chromatica's 16 tracks.
The vocals of the original contributors, including K-Pop girl band BLACKPINK, Elton John and Ariana Grande, are all still included but in a new form.
However, a huge number of artists have tried their hand at reworking the tracks.

Many have called for her to come on tour and share the album live with fans.
Is Lady Gaga Going on Tour?
No tour to celebrate the relaese of Dawn of Chromatica has been announced, but Gaga did share her intentions for how fans can celebrate the album at home.
Accompanying an image of herself on release day, Gaga posted to Instagram: "PAIN IS A SINE
"#DawnofChromatica I invite you to dance to this album in celebration of young artists all over the world. Artists who see the world, feel the world, and put that feeling into something bigger than all of us: music. All love, LG xx"
However, Gaga will be performing in Las Vegas in October in a two-week residency of her Jazz and Piano show.
The singer's Enigma + Jazz and Piano residency at the Park Theater, Park MGM, was the best-selling of 2019. More concerts were planned for 2020 until the coronavirus pandemic forced them to be cancelled.
As a result, she is returning for just two weeks to perform the Jazz and Piano show.
No other tours have been announced, though Lady Gaga will likely be travelling and doing press junkets as her new movie, House of Gucci, will be coming out at the end of 2021.
