Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Celebrate Third Wedding Anniversary
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle celebrate the third anniversary of their Windsor Castle wedding today.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex mark three years since the day they committed legally to each other before a TV audience of 50 million people in Britain and the U.S. alone.
They kissed on the steps of St. George's Chapel and had a carriage procession through the streets of Windsor, before Elton John played "Your Song" at their reception.
The couple told Oprah Winfrey the public event was for the world and they had a private reading of vows several days earlier.
However, the May 19 ceremony remains the moment they were legally married and Meghan became a princess.
Their Vows
Prince Harry and Prince William walked into the chapel side-by-side before Meghan and mother Doria Ragland arrived by car.
Prince Charles then walked his daughter-in-law down the aisle. Her father did not make the star-studded event.
They were married by Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby in the same church where in April the royals gathered for Prince Philip's funeral.

Prince Harry's vows were: "I Harry, take you, Meghan, to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward; for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part; according to God's holy law. In the presence of God I make this vow."
Meghan said: "I Meghan, take you, Harry, to be my husband, to have and to hold from this day forward; for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part; according to God's holy law. In the presence of God I make this vow."
'When Love is the Way'
Bishop Michael Curry gave a stirring address in which the BBC reported he told the couple: "We gotta get you all married."
The Detroit-born, first black presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church was hailed as the "unexpected star" of the day by Spectator editor Fraser Nelson.
Curry said: "When love is the way, we will let justice roll down like a mighty stream and righteousness like an ever-flowing brook.
"When love is the way, poverty will become history. When love is the way, the Earth will be a sanctuary."
The BBC reported how he referenced African American spiritual song "Down by the Riverside."
He said: "When love is the way, we will lay down our swords and shields down by the riverside to study war no more.
"When love is the way, there's plenty good room, plenty good room for all of God's children.
"Because when love is the way, we actually treat each other, well, like we're actually family."
The Archbishop of Canterbury spoke glowingly about Curry, describing him as a "brilliant pastor, stunning preacher," the BBC reported.
The Reception
After the ceremony, the couple kissed on the steps and had a carriage procession in an open-topped Ascot Landau.
There was then a lunchtime reception where Elton John played hits including "Your Song," "Tiny Dancer," "Circle of Life" and "I'm Still Standing," The Sun reported.
Prince Harry introduced him by asking: "Does anyone here know how to play the piano?"
After lunch at St. George's Hall, the couple drove to their evening reception at Frogmore House in a 1968 E-type Jaguar, specially adapted to be electric.
The vehicle had the number plate E190518—the day's date, written the British way with the day before the month.
