The Krypt returns in Mortal Kombat 11. This time, however, players will be transported to Shang Tsung's Island, which is a maze with puzzles and secret passages full of treasure chests containing gear, Fatalities, Brutalities and more.. Each chest requires currency to open, with most requiring Koins, which can be earned doing just about anything in Mortal Kombat 11. Others need Hearts to be opened, which are earned by performing Fatalities and Brutalities in battle.

But which chests hold which items? We tested the Krypt on two different save files and the Palace Entrance chests were the same, but the other areas weren't.

UPDATE: NetherRealm confirmed that special chests like the Shao Kahn ones have the same contents and location for every player but the location of the rest are different depending on player choice.
