A Range Rover SUV was seized overnight Friday-Saturday from a restaurant near the home of Nancy Guthrie, the missing mother of Today show host Savannah Guthrie.
Officials said Saturday that no arrests had been made following the activity overnight.
FBI agents and local law enforcement officers were seen carrying out the search in a parking lot of Culver’s restaurant in Tucson, Arizona, two weeks since the 84-year-old went missing. Officials have not confirmed whether or not the activity was linked to the search for 84-year-old Guthrie who has been missing for nearly two weeks.
Earlier, the local sheriff confirmed "Law enforcement activity is underway" at a separate location, a home near E Orange Grove Rd & N First Ave, about 2 miles from Nancy Guthrie's, the department said on X at 11:47 p.m. local time on Friday (1:47 a.m. Saturday ET). Photos showed law enforcement vehicles, including those from SWAT and forensics, were involved.
Newsweek contacted FBI Phoenix via email and the sheriff's office via contact form early on Saturday, outside of regular office hours.

Nancy Guthrie’s Friends Recall Vibrant Life Before Disappearance
Friends of Nancy Guthrie are sharing memories of the vibrant, active life the 84-year-old led before her disappearance from her Catalina Foothills home on February 1, according to AZ Central.
Those closest to Guthrie describe a woman who remained brilliant and engaged in her community through book clubs, church activities, Bible study classes, and monthly dinners with fellow media professionals.
Patricia Sturmon, who has known Guthrie for 20 years, emphasized that her friend's age has not diminished her mental acuity. "Yes, we're older, but we're not less brilliant," Sturmon told the outlet, noting that Guthrie is a voracious reader who stays current on events and plays mahjong.
Jacqueline Sharkey, Professor Emerita at the University of Arizona who first met Guthrie in the 1990s, described her as "completely devoted to her family, her faith, and her community," calling her a "quiet leader" who worked behind the scenes on issues ranging from education to public health.
Guthrie's faith has become a source of hope for friends praying for her safe return. The widow, who raised three children alone after her husband's sudden death in 1988, worked as a spokesperson for the University Medical Center and the University of Arizona. She played a pivotal role in saving the University of Arizona's Poison Information Center in the pre-internet era, helping collect more than 20,000 signatures that were delivered to the governor.
Friends last saw her before Christmas and had plans to meet again in February, AZ Central reported.

Law Enforcement Activity to be Expected Every Day in Guthrie Case, Sheriff Says
Law enforcement activity is expected in the Tucson area every day as agencies continue to investigate the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, Pima County Sheriff Nanos told Fox News Saturday.
"Everyday moving forward there will be a lot of police activity throughout the community," Nanos told the outlet, according to a post on X from reporter Matt Finn.
"As to what level of activity that is depends on what lead they chase and how it develops," the sheriff continued.
"These leads start in the command post and move to the field as needed," he explained, adding, "That is one reason you’re seeing activity build up as the day goes on that can ultimately lead to a search warrant looking for Nancy and any suspect involved."
Nanos also told Fox News that the detainee at Culver's was cooperative and released. As for other detainees at the separate scene of a warrant execution at a residence, the sheriff said that there was "no sign of Nancy."
"I’m guessing anyone at the residence was 'detained' but that is standard procedure to allow investigators serving a search warrant freedom to conduct their search," Nanos told the outlet, adding, "I was not at the scene and I’m sure people were detained but no one was arrested."

Neighbors of Nancy Guthrie Speak Out
As the community awaits any updates in the Nancy Guthrie disappearance case, her neighbors have spoken out about the investigation.
One neighbor, Steve Lippman, told CNN that he wished "they were giving more information.”
“I think the sheriff is a very experienced veteran of law enforcement," he said, noting "but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s experienced with what this case is all about.”
“They invited the FBI in, or the FBI came in pretty quickly. But maybe it wasn’t quite quickly enough,” Lippman continued.
Another neighbor, retired attorney David Curl, spoke with the New York Times about the search of a neighbor's home.
He said that the woman and sheriff's deputies knocked on his door when her home was being searched and she spent the night at the Curl's home.
Curl said after the woman's home was searched, he went with her to lock up her home and saw a federal warrant in the living room that said it was connected to the Nancy Guthrie case.
“She had no idea what they were asking about,” Curl explained to NYT, adding, “She had no information about the disappearance or any idea why they were focusing on their house.”
He said the woman was "really distraught" following the search.

Nancy Guthrie Investigation Timeline
It has been 14 days since Nancy Guthrie was initially reported missing.
February 1
A doorbell camera at Guthrie's home was disconnected in the early hours of the morning and data from her pacemaker app showed the app was disconnected from her phone.
Local police were called to her home after friends expressed concerns that she hadn't attended church. Upon arriving at her home, police officials realized she was missing, prompting an urgent search.
February 2
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos called a press conference, declaring that Guthrie's home was a "crime scene" and called on the community to help with their investigation. He said that he believed Guthrie was abducted and did not leave her home willingly.
Nanos also said Guthrie needs daily medication, and it could be fatal if she did not take this every 24 hours.
February 3
Local Arizona outlet 13 News and TMZ said they received alleged ransom notes about Guthrie. Investigators investigated their veracity and more ransom notes were reported in the days that followed, with deadlines to respond to them passing.
February 5
Nanos said at a press conference that blood was found on the porch of Guthrie's home. He confirmed it belonged to Guthrie and said investigators were awaiting results from further samples.
February 6
FBI officials removed a camera from the roof of Nancy Guthrie's home and towed a car from her garage as part of their continued investigation, according to multiple reports.
February 7
Having previously called for support and help from the public, Savannah Guthrie and her siblings posted a video on Instagram, directly addressing those believed to be holding her mother amid the reports of unverified ransom notes. She indicated she would pay a ransom to secure the safe release of her mother.
"We received your message and we understand," she said. "We beg you now to return our mother to us so we can celebrate with her. This is the only way we will have peace. This is very valuable to us and we will pay."
February 10
The FBI released video and still images recovered from a camera outside Guthrie's front door in the early morning hours on the day of her disappearance in a bid to help the invesitgation.

Local police searched the house of a man who was detained in connection with Guthrie's disappearance and released images from this search operation. He was later released and was not charged, according to multiple reports.
The man, Carlos Palazuelos, identified himself while speaking to reporters outside his home in Rio Rico. Palazuelos told Fox News that he was a local delivery driver who works in Tucson and that he was innocent.
Investigators recovered a black glove on a dirt or walking path near Guthrie’s home.
Meanwhile, TMZ reported that it had received another note in connection with the case demanding one Bitcoin (estimated value: $67,000) be paid for information on the possible abductor.
February 12
Nanos blocked the FBI from accessing key evidence in the case, Reuters reported on Thursday, citing a U.S. law enforcement official with knowledge of the case. But Nanos hit back and said this claim was "not even close to the truth."
Later, the FBI released new details about the potential suspect in the case and identifying details and said it was doubling the reward to $100,000 for information leading to Guthrie's location.
"The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5’9” - 5’10” tall, with an average build. In the video, he is wearing a black, 25-liter ‘Ozark Trail Hiker Pack’ backpack," the FBI said in its X post in part.

The backpack clue in the Nancy Guthrie case
The FBI has shared several photos of the backpack the suspect was wearing in the doorbell footage recently recovered - a black, 25-liter "Ozark Trail Hiker Pack’ backpack."
CNN Chief Law Enforcement And Intelligence Analyst John Miller said that the bag could help lead to the suspect if they bought it with a traceable credit card, or if security cameras captured them buying it with cash, or if there are electronic records of them buying it online.
"It's not a smoking gun," he said, "but it is something that is a structured piece of data that you can search backwards from."
