How to Watch 'Paw Patrol: The Movie' Online For Free

Paw Patrol: The Movie has been a surprise box office hit around the world – in U.K., for example, it is currently second in the box office behind The Suicide Squad.

Viewers in the U.S., however, have been unable to watch the big screen adventures of Chase, Marshall and the rest of the canine heroes until now.

While in other territories the Paw Patrol movie has only come to theaters, in the U.S. it is being released to a streaming service the same day that it comes to cinemas.

This means that families who are not quite comfortable with going to theaters yet will be able to watch the movie online very soon, and at no charge. Here's how.

When will Paw Patrol: The Movie be streaming?

The release date for the movie in the U.S. is Friday, August 20.

As it is coming to streaming, it will be available online on that day from 3 a.m. ET. When it is available where you are will depend which time zone you are in.

Those on Pacific Time will get the movie at midnight, Mountain Time at 1 a.m., and Central at 2 a.m. Those in Alaska and Hawaii, meanwhile, will be able to see the film from late of Thursday, August 19.

Where will Paw Patrol: The Movie be streaming?

The film is being made by Nickelodeon Movies, which is part of ViacomCBS. That company's streaming service is Paramount+ (formerly CBS All Access), so the Paw Patrol film will be on there from the early hours of August 20.

The fact that the film is on Paramount+ is good news for those who want to watch the film for free.

Unlike fellow streaming services like Netflix, HBO Max and Disney+, Paramount+ still offers a free trial for new subscribers. This means that viewers will get a week to watch Paw Patrol for free.

After that time, the service costs $4.99 a month ($49.99 a year) with adverts or $9.99 a month ($99.99 a year) for no commercials.

Paramount+ has not only Paw Patrol: The Movie, but a host of other content from the franchise. This includes five seasons of the show as well as the special Paw Patrol Live! At Home.
