POKEMON GO ALOLAN MAROWAK RAID DAY START TIME

The special Alolan Marowak Raid Day begins Saturday, October 31, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time.

ALOLAN MAROWAK COUNTERS

Being a Ghost and Fire-type Pokémon, Alolan Marowak has weaknesses to Water, Ground, Rock, Dark and Ghost-type attacks.

In Pokémon Go, there are actually three Mega Pokémon that trainers can bring into battle against Alolan Marowak during the special Raid Day. Mega Gengar, Mega Houndoom, and Mega Blastoise are your best options to take out this special Pokémon. With the increase to how long Mega Evolution lasts, you can Mega Evolve one of these Pokémon and use it for the duration of the Raid Day.

Here are some great options to battle Alolan Marowak:

  • Mega Gengar with Lick and Shadow Ball
  • Mega Houndoom with Snarl and Foul Play
  • Mega Blastoise with Water Gun and Hydro Cannon
  • Swampert with Mud Shot and Hydro Cannon
  • Mewtwo with Psycho Cut and Shadow Ball
  • Tyranitar with Smack Down and Stone Edge
  • Gyarados with Waterfall and Hydro Pump
  • Rampardos with Smack Down and Rock Slide
  • Chandelure with Hex and Shadow Ball

SHADOW BONE AND FREE REMOTE RAID PASSES

You may already have an Alolan Marowak, but this Raid Day gives trainers a chance to catch this powerful Pokémon with an exclusive attack.

Alolan Marowak caught during the event window will know the exclusive move Shadow Bone. Not much is known about this Ghost-type charged attack, but if we go by other exclusive moves, Shadow Bone may become Alolan Marowak's best option for damage in PVP.

To help trainers get as many battles against Alolan Marowak as they can, Pokémon Go is gifting three Remote Raid Passes for free on Saturday. Claim them in the in-game shop. These passes will allow trainers to battle in a Raid from the comfort of their own home.
