POKEMON GO BATTLE LEAGUE SEASON 6 SCHEDULE

Season 6 of the Pokémon Go Battle League begins Monday, November 30 at 4 p.m. EDT.

When the new season begins, the end-of-season rewards for Season 5 will be rewarded to trainers based on their rank. You can read more about those rewards, here.

However, as the Pokémon Go Battle League will now revolve around the concept of "seasons" in the mobile game, this schedule released by Niantic is tentative and only goes up to the halfway point of the season.

POKEMON GO BATTLE LEAGUE SEASON 6 REWARDS

The new season is also bringing a new rewards structure. The rewards for each Go Battle League Season will be tied to the current overarching "season" in Pokémon Go.

Here's the current rank rewards for Pokémon Go Battle League Season 6:

The rank-reward system has been updated. The following ranks will be unique in terms of how players progress through them and the rewards granted on the rewards tracks. Once you reach these ranks, you need to only complete one set of battles to progress to the next rank.

Rank 5: The rewards will be mystery items.

Rank 10: The rewards will be Stardust.

Rank 15: The rewards will be Rare Candies.

Rank 19: The rewards will be Pokémon encounters.

POKEMON GO BATTLE LEAGUE SEASON 6 CHANGES

The biggest change to the Pokémon Go Battle League is its ranking system. The number of ranks has been increased from 10 to 24 allowing for more chances to earn rewards.

Trainers will progress through ranks 1 to 20 by participating in battles and securing wins.

The top four ranks in the Go Battle League will be reserved for the best of the best after reaching a certain rating.

Updates on attack changes will be noted in a separate Niantic blog post, but we'll update this section when it goes live.
