'Pokémon Go' Ultra Bonus Week 1: Start Time, Shiny Sentret, Gligar and More
While Pokémon Go players are trying to catch their Jirachi, the popular mobile game is preparing a special Ultra Bonus Week.
Thanks to the efforts of Go Fest and Safari Zone attendees, as well as players playing around the world, special in-game bonuses as well as new Pokémon will begin appearing in the popular mobile game in September.
The first week of Pokémon Go's Ultra Bonus Week will be Johto-themed, bringing two new Shiny Pokémon to the game as well as the Legendary Beasts to Raids.
Here's everything involved with the Pokémon Go Ultra Bonus Week 1 event including start time.

POKEMON GO ULTRA BONUS WEEK 1 START TIME
The first Ultra Bonus week will begin Monday, September 2 at 4 p.m. EDT and will end September 9 at 4 p.m. EDT.
SHINY SENTRET AND SHINY GLIGAR
Sentret and Gligar will receive their Shiny Pokémon in the mobile game.
Players can identify a Shiny Sentret by its lighter coloring. It goes from brown to a more orange color. Gligar's Shiny version changes its color from light purple to a more blue color.
Pokémon Go players will need to encounter these Pokémon in the wild before discovering if they have found its Shiny form. You can also identify Shiny Pokémon by the special symbol next to the Pokémon's name.
RAIKOU, ENTEI, SUICUNE RAID BOSSES

The pure Electric, Fire and Water-type Pokémon will begin appearing in Level 5 Raids and players will want to prepare to take them down and catch them using Pokémon that will be strong against them.
All three Pokémon have their Shiny versions released in Pokémon Go so you're likely to have a chance to encounter them this week.
