According to Serebii, the Japanese variety show Oha Suta listed its May 31 episode as having "shocking" Pokémon news with "a moment a new history is born." Interestingly, the Oha Suta listing was changed shortly after its initial posting to simply say "full of Pokémon information."

This seems to point to more information on the upcoming Pokémon Switch game especially since Oha Suta called the news "shocking," which might have a connection to the leaked title Let's Go Pikachu.

So when will the world receive the Pokémon Switch news? Joe Merrick of Serebii states that he highly doubts that the first information on the new game will come on the Japanese show, so if there is a formal announcement it'll come before it.

UPDATE: King Zell posted on Resetera stating that the upcoming Pokémon announcement will be presented during a media event that starts at 10 a.m. Japan Time (9 p.m. EDT) and news will be out at 11:30 a.m. Japan Time (10:30 p.m. EDT).

The upcoming Oha Suta Pokémon news continues a list of leaks and rumors about the Switch games. The Pokémon Switch hype train began earlier in May when industry insider Emily Rogers stated that information about the new games would come by the end of the month. That same day, the logo and titles of the Pokémon Switch games were leaked revealing Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee as the two versions coming to the hybrid console.

Days after the leak, The Pokémon Company seemingly registered domain names for both Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee through the same company that registered Sun and Moon.

Neither Nintendo nor The Pokémon Company have announced when official information will be released, but with E3 2018 only weeks away fans should expect confirmation of the Switch games this week.
