When it comes to PS5 restocks, this week has been particularly eventful.
There have already been a few drops at several major retailers and, if you are lucky enough to be in a select location, you might still be able to get one of the consoles right now.
Here is a breakdown of the latest PS5 restock information.
GameStop PS5 Restock
As initially reported by TechRadar, over 200 GameStop locations topped up their PS5 inventories on September 30.
The stores in question could all be found in the states of Georgia, Texas and New York. If you were within travelling distance of one of these participating locations, then you had the opportunity to get in line for a chance at purchasing one of Sony's next-gen consoles. To clarify, you were not able to reserve your order online.
The restocks commenced in earnest when the stores opened (in most cases at 8 a.m. ET). You could not buy standalone PS5s and instead had to shell for a $705 bundle, that came with a few accessories and GameStop gift cards.
At the time of writing, the GameStop website does not have any PS5 units listed.

Target PS5 Restock
Target has restocked earlier today (October 1) in its usual timeslot. While the merchant's drops rarely fall on the same day of the week, they almost always take place between 7 a.m. ET and 8 a.m. ET.
Today's restock occurred at 7:50 a.m, with the PS5 disc edition being listed for its recommended manufacture's cost of $499.
You might actually be able to get one still, depending on where you live, as there are units available for pickup in certain regions. There are even a few Xbox Series X units up for grabs as well.
If you filter your search via ZIP-code on the Target website, you will be able to assess the situation on a local level.

Amazon PS5 Restock
There are no PlayStation 5 units that can be purchased directly from Amazon right now, but a few second-hand units are being traded on the marketplace.
As always, it is worth bearing in mind that most of these are listed by third-party scalpers, who will charge you an extortionate rate so that they can turn a bigger profit. For instance, there is a PS5 currently listed on the website for $999 and this does not come with any games or accessories.

Walmart PS5 Restock
Much like Amazon, Walmart does allow independent third parties to sell PS5s on its website. Again, these are incredibly overpriced, with some costing as much as $949.
If you disregard these second-hand units, then you cannot get a PS5 from Walmart at the time of writing.
The last official restock took place on Friday, September 24. Given that Walmart tends to coordinate its restocks on a fortnightly basis, the next drop is likely to occur sometime around October 8.

Best Buy PS5 Restock
On Thursday, September 23, Best Buy coordinated a restock event at flagship locations dotted around the country.
These were in-store drops only, meaning that you were not able to place an order online and had to physically wait outside one of the participating locations.
Since this nationwide restock, there have been no subsequent PS5 drops at Best Buy.

Newegg PS5 Restock
PS5s have been featured in the last few Newegg shuffles, but that streak has now sadly come to an end. Today's lottery draw consists entirely of PC components, like video cards and motherboards.
While there are no consoles included in the latest Shuffle, you can browse the rest of Newegg's website to see if there are any used PS5s available. However, just like with Amazon and Walmart, any units you find here will be traded by third-party scalpers for an inflated price.

PS Direct PS5 Restock
PS Direct opened its virtual queue earlier this week, on Tuesday, September 28.
For a brief period of time, customers were able to procure both the disc and digital editions of the console, for their respective manufacture's prices.
These supplies have now been totally depleted and you are no longer able to get either version of the next-gen PlayStation from Sony's storefront.
