Right-Wing Pastor Greg Locke Attacks Followers Complaining About His Political Rants During Sermons

Controversial right-wing Pastor Greg Locke attacked members of his church who criticize him for using his sermons to discuss politics, calling them "judgmental," "cowards" and "hypocrites."

Footage of his Sunday sermon, posted on Twitter by Right Wing Watch, features Locke, the head of Global Vision Bible Church in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, calling out churchgoers who have said he "is too outspoken politically" during his sermons.

Locke said he is "bothered" by this, telling them they are free to leave. He dismissed the criticism, saying that in a sermon that could last for up to 45 minutes to one hour, he only mentions politics for a few minutes.

"We've got some people under the tent right now. You have the hardest time keeping your mouth shut about your church, so I'm going to sit here for about 15 seconds and just give you a chance to leave anytime you want to, because we need your seat anyhow," he said.

He added that anyone who complains about him "behind closed doors" should "walk out right now in front of everybody" before committing to continue preaching his beliefs.

"If you think I'm going to stop just because you want me to, you've lost your mind," he said. "I'm just getting started. I'm just now calling out Joe Biden. I'm just now preaching against the LGBTQ community. I'm just now calling out abortion. I'm just now talking about election fraud. I'm just talking about Antifa and Black Lives Matter. I'm just now calling out this wicked nonsense."

Locke has frequently spoken about politics during his controversial sermons. In June, a speech in which he claimed President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are overseeing "child-trafficking" went viral, being viewed more than 1.5 million times.

In two controversial August sermons, he called Biden the "real virus in this country" and said only "crack-smoking, demon-possessed leftists" believe he won the 2020 presidential election.

He also vowed to remove anyone from his church who wears a face mask due to the COVID-19 pandemic in a July sermon.

"Don't believe this Delta variant nonsense. Stop it! Stop it! If they go through round two and you start showing up with all these masks and nonsense, I will ask you to leave," he said.
