He reiterates that he is a man of faith and that he knew God favored him and looked after him, but before his announcement in October he was terrified and wasn't sure he wanted to share the news with the fans.

He wasn't sure how the fans would react, but he received so much love from them when he got home that he was overwhelmed. It wasn't just the WWE fans, everyone who loved and hated him were by his side.

Roman says he felt like he could do anything with the strength and love he received. Reigns goes on to say that he wants to use the opportunity of being in the ring every night to raise awareness and help others in need. After his announcement, Seth Rollins comes out to hug Roman.

This was Romans' first time on WWE television since his October announcement on Monday Night RAW where he revealed to the fans that his leukemia had returned. He was in remission since 2008.

After pulling the curtain back on his life, Roman vacated the Universal Champion he won at SummerSlam in August. Brock Lesnar would win the Universal Championship in a match against Braun Strowman on the Crown Jewel pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia. "The Beast" has held the title since, defeating Daniel Bryan and Finn Balor along the way.

Lesnar is now set to face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 35 after "The Architect" won this year's Royal Rumble.

After the October announcement, Reigns has been out of the spotlight only giving updates on his health via social media. It was revealed in January that Reigns would have a role in the upcoming Fast and Furious spin-off, Hobbs and Shaw, where he will play Luke Hobbs' (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson) brother.

Roman is set to appear on Good Morning America on Tuesday, February 26 to discuss tonight's announcement, his recent journey. It's also being teased he has an announcement that fans can't miss.
