Manchester City will demand £80 million for star striker Sergio Aguero, according to reports.

Aguero, 28, is City's leading scorer this season in all competitions but he has lost his first-team place in Pep Guardiola's team to teenager Gabriel Jesus.

The 19-year-old Brazil international has hit the ground running since arriving at Etihad Stadium in January, with three goals in two appearances including a double in victory over Swansea City on Sunday.

Aguero's position on the bench has led to speculation that the Argentina international could be on his way out of the English Premier League at the end of the season. The Times reports Paris Saint-Germain would lead the chase for Aguero's signature.

The French giant, backed by owner Qatar Sports Investments, would need to pay around £80 million ($99 million) for Aguero according to the same newspaper.

City is understood to be reluctant to lose Aguero, but its hand may be forced if the striker is determined to seek first-team football elsewhere.
