'Smash Ultimate' DLC Leak Gains Credibility With 'Persona 5 The Royal' Announcement

In December, a leak on 5channel made the rounds when an anonymous poster stated that Joker, a character from Persona 5 slated to join the Smash roster, would have a stage based on Mementos from Persona 5. The leak also stated that P5R, which is a complete version of the game, would release in 2019.
Atlus confirmed Persona 5 The Royal over the weekend. While no details on the upcoming game were given, the company said more information will come on April 24 during the live concert, Persona Super Live 2019. Many speculate that Persona 5 The Royal will be a "game of the year" style release that will feature extra content.
A February datamine confirmed the stage that will accompany Joker in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The code for "Jack_Menentoes" was found, which suggests Mementos is the name of Joker's level. Mementos is a dungeon-like subway station where players can do side quests.
So what did the December leak say about the next DLC character? It states that the long-rumored Erdrick from Dragon Quest XI will be invited to Smash Ultimate. Here's the details on Erdrick in Smash Ultimate according to the December leak:

Fans of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate are patiently waiting for the release of Joker. Joker is the first DLC character coming to Nintendo's premiere fighting game and the only clues we have is a tweet that confirms an April release date.
