The Nebraska Cornhuskers have fallen on hard times after a 5-0 start to the college football season, losing each of their last games. Unfortunately, this has also led to frustration from Cornhuskers fans, leading one fan to berate the daughter of head coach Matt Rhule during their most recent loss to the Washington Huskies.

The losses have certainly been head-scratching for Nebraska, as all three losses have come despite going into the fourth quarter of their last three games with leads.

Frustration is natural for any fanbase. But one Nebraska fan undoubtedly took things over the line by accosting Rhule's 13-year-old daughter.

Discussing this incident on Monday, Rhule made it clear that he will prioritize the safety of his family should it come to it, threatening to quit coaching if these kinds of situations continue.

"A guy walked up to my 13-year-old daughter and was like, 'F-U and F your dad.' I'm not going to keep coaching if it means my kids grow up screwed up," said Rhule. "I'm not going to see my daughter shook. I'm not coaching for the guy that attacked my daughter, I'm coaching for the people in the boat."

Given that the situation is fresh, cooler heads will likely prevail once Rhule has some time to process the fact that one fan does not speak for an entire fanbase.

Still, it certainly doesn't make things any easier for Rhule to have to deal with his family members being verbally attacked during games.

Rhule and his family will look to put this ugly incident behind them as he works to get his team prepared for a quick turnaround in Week 10, as Nebraska is set to take to the road to face off against the Illinois Fighting Illini on Friday night.
