Micah Parsons hasn't played in a game yet for the Green Bay Packers this season, but is still letting other teams and players know how he feels about them while watching from afar.
The five-time Pro Bowl selection and 2021 Defensive Player of the Year appears regularly on Bleacher Report's "The Edge with Micah Parsons." This week, he unleashed his thoughts on various teams around the league, including the AFC's Kansas City Chiefs.
Kansas City just lost its first game of the season, and in disappointing fashion, 20-3. The Seattle Seahawks neutralized the Chiefs' offense by preventing their former running back Kenneth Walker III from getting going on the ground and limiting Patrick Mahomes to just 165 passing yards with no touchdowns.

"The Chiefs don't, they don't scare me. I was not scared. Like watching that game, I was not scared," Parsons told his co-host before saying, "They need someone to be able to take the top off."

According to Parsons, the Chiefs lack a serious downfield threat like Tyreek Hill, who played for the team from 2016 to 2021 and won Super Bowl LIV with them. His co-host mentioned that the Chiefs have wide receiver Xavier Worthy as a potential threat, and Parsons suggested that Worthy being a fast receiver wasn't enough.
"I'm gonna be honest with you, and we gotta stop this madness. Just because you buy Tyreek Hill's speed doesn't mean you're buying Tyreek," he said. "Like, respectfully. Like, we have to stop this."
Parsons also said that a receiver's "ability to change direction and come in and out of breaks" will "dictate how good you are" in the NFL. He mentioned that the Cincinnati Bengals previously drafted John Ross, who had a fast time in the 40-yard dash, but that wasn't enough to make him great in the NFL.
The Packers star also pointed to NFL legend Jerry Rice, who he contended didn't possess an elite 40-yard dash speed, but had the skills necessary to become one of the greatest receivers in league history.
Travis Kelce currently leads all Chiefs receivers with 24 receptions for 343 yards and two touchdowns. Tyquan Thornton has 219 yards and two touchdowns on 11 receptions, while Worthy is third with 217 yards and one touchdown.
Most individuals will point to the Chiefs adding star running back Kenneth Walker III in the backfield as a significant move that has kept them winning games. After the loss to the Super Bowl champions, Kansas City is 6-1, with its next game against the Denver Broncos on Sunday, Nov. 1.
Parsons' comments about the Chiefs arrive as his return to the football field seems imminent. He suffered a devastating season-ending knee injury in his team's game against the Denver Broncos last December. That kept him out of the postseason, with his team falling to the Chicago Bears in the NFC Wild Card Round.
The most recent timeline for Parsons' return has him back for Green Bay's Week 12 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams on Thanksgiving Eve. That game could also have the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, Myles Garrett, back for the Rams, alongside Aaron Donald, another former DPOY who returned from retirement to play for his longtime team.
The Packers have three AFC opponents on their schedule after Parsons' expected return, but none of them are Kansas City. They'll face the Buffalo Bills on Dec. 13, the Miami Dolphins on Dec. 20, and the Houston Texans on Jan. 4.
