Some rumors have surfaced about one of WWE's biggest stars, Roman Reigns, and one insider has scoffed at the gossip. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful responded to a claim that Reigns refused to put on LGBTQ gloves proposed by WWE. Sapp referred to the rumor as "rage bait" and encouraged fans to report social media pages that spread lies.

Another rumor that was debunked claimed that "The OTC" had pledged $3 million to build 60 homes. Sapp also blasted that rumor, calling it "engagement bait."

Roman Reigns' WrestleMania Direction

WWE has teased what Reigns' direction will be going into "WrestleMania 42" in Las Vegas. The former leader of The Bloodline recently fell short in the men's WarGames match at "Survivor Series 2025." After the match, Reigns embraced WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk. He did not share the same gesture for Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

Some reports have claimed that WWE could be leaning towards a third "WrestleMania" match between Reigns and Rhodes. Many within the professional wrestling industry have scoffed at that idea, as they want to see fresh opponents for "The OTC" and "The American Nightmare."

Reigns and Rhodes are 1-1 against each other at WWE's biggest show of the year. Reigns defeated Rhodes at "WrestleMania 39" back in 2023 thanks to help from Solo Sikoa and the rest of The Bloodline. The following year, Rhodes pinned Reigns to capture the Undisputed WWE Championship in what has already proven to be one of the most memorable moments in company history.

Reigns is expected to return to TV during the buildup to the "Royal Rumble 2026" PLE. While Bron Breakker is reportedly a favorite to win the match, one can't rule out a victory for Reigns given WWE's recent teases.
