WWE has reportedly signed a noteworthy college athlete. Nebraska Huskers track and field freshman Meghan Walker has signed a deal with the professional wrestling company, per PWInsider. More News: Former WWE Star Wins TNA Wrestling Championship: Spoiler
WWE NXT Women's Division
Walker will enter a lion's den when she's ready for her "NXT" debut. Many fans have praised "NXT's" stacked women's division, which features the likes of NXT Women's North American Champion Blake Monroe, Sol Ruca, Zaria, Jordynne Grace, Kelani Jordan, and Lola Vice, to name a few.
There are plenty of key storylines ongoing with the women's division on WWE's developmental brand. Izzi Dame and The Culling recently turned on Tatum Paxley, costing her the NXT Women's Championship in a loss to Jacy Jayne.
The team of ZaRuca might be in for a split following the events of "NXT Gold Rush" in New York City. During the NXT Women's North American Championship match between Monroe and Ruca, Zaria threw in the towel while her tag team partner was in a submission. While Zaria feared that Ruca returned from an injury too soon, the other half of ZaRuca was none too pleased.
