Who Is Trashelle Odom? Woman Who Accused Corey Lewandowski of Making Sexual Advances

Corey Lewandowski, a top aide to former President Donald Trump, has been removed as chairman of the MAGA Action political action committee following accusations by a donor that he sexually harassed her last weekend.

Lewandowski, who has denied the allegations, "will no longer be associated with Trump World," the former president's director of communications, Taylor Budowich, tweeted in an announcement that said he would be replaced by former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi.

The exit of one of Trump's top lieutenants comes following graphic allegations of Lewandowski's behavior at a charity dinner that have been made by Trashelle Odom, who is the wife of Idaho construction executive John Odom.

Trashelle Odom was among around two dozen GOP donors at the dinner held at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino's Benihana restaurant on Sunday, Politico reported.

She was seated next to Lewandowski during the event, which was part of a four-day conference held by the substance abuse charity Victoria's Voice Foundation.

Politico described Trashelle Odom and her husband as newcomers to the Republican donor scene and reported that she had been intimidated by Lewandowski's claims that he controlled who had access to Trump's inner circle.

She told Politico in a statement that Lewandowski had touched her and made lewd comments.

"He repeatedly touched me inappropriately, said vile and disgusting things to me, stalked me," she said, "and made me feel violated and fearful."

The statement alleged that Lewandowski told her about the size of his genitalia, described his sexual performance and showed her his hotel room key. It said that Lewandowski had tried to hold her hand and had touched her leg.

Politico said her allegations were backed up by four people who were first-hand witnesses.

Odom said she came forward "because he needs to be held accountable" and that she wanted other women "to know that you can be heard, too, and together we can stop terrible things like this from happening."

"I am blessed to have a loving husband and family behind me," she added.

Odom is pictured on the company website of HMH construction, next to her husband, who is described as the owner of the Idaho company which is active in the Treasure Valley area.

The website says he has worked in the excavation and construction industry for over 20 years and he enjoys raising his family, which includes five children aged between one and 19.

Following her allegations, David Chesnoff, a Las Vegas attorney representing Lewandowski, said in a statement to media that "accusations and rumors appear to be morphing by the minute and we will not dignify them with a further response."

Newsweek has contacted Chesnoff for comment.
