WWE NXT Results: Will We See a New Cruiserweight Champion?

NXT looks to build off its massive first full episode on the USA Network with a title match and a dream match.

First, Lio Rush will go against the current Cruiserweight Champion, Drew Gulak. Rush defeated Oney Lorcan on the first episode of NXT on USA to become the number-one contender, but will "the man of the hour" be able to overcome the ring technician and win his first title in WWE?

Walter has crossed the ocean to arrive at Full Sail with his Imperium stable to make sure his brand of wrestling is enacted in NXT. However, Kushida stepped up and the Full Sail crowd will be treated to an encounter between Walter and the Japanese wrestler. Will Imperium come out on top and continue their invasion, or will Kushida be able to send them back to NXT UK?

North American Champion Roderick Strong is set to go against Isaiah "Swerve" Scott. Strong is coming off his victory over Velveteen Dream to win his first singles title in the WWE, but Roderick can't rest now as he goes up against Swerve who is hungry to get in the title scene.

Shayna Baszler retained the NXT Women's Championship last week after defeating Candice LeRae. With Baszler cementing her place atop of the division, is there anyone who will step up to the "submission magician"?

Last week saw the return of Finn Balor and Tommaso Ciampa, who are both gunning for Adam Cole's NXT Championship. What will the leader of The Undisputed Era do now that both former champions are after him?

Here's everything that happened on the October 9 episode of NXT.
