Xbox Series X Restock Update for Best Buy, Target, Amazon, Walmart, Costco and More

Xbox Series X restocks have been few and far between lately and, as we approach the end of the week, it is increasingly unlikely that there will be any last-minute surprises.

That being said, there is one retailer that has yet to release its batch of limited edition Halo Infinite consoles, so there is still a glimmer of hope.

Below is the latest restock information for the Xbox Series X and Series S.

Best Buy Xbox Series X Restock

Best Buy is the only major U.S retailer that has yet to release its batch of Halo Infinite Xbox Series X units.

The item's product page, which currently displays as "coming soon", is expected to go live any day now. If you are interested, the specially designed Xbox costs $549.99 and will ship with a copy of Halo Infinite itself, as well as a uniquely patterned controller.

To be informed as soon as the Best Buy product page is updated, follow dedicated Twitter accounts like @XboxStockAlerts, @GYXdeals and @mattswider.

Walmart Xbox Series X Restock

Walmart managed to restock on the Xbox Series X twice last week, on two consecutive days.

Given how close together these drops were, it is hardly surprising then that the merchant has been a little quiet over the past few days. It presumably needs more time to replenish its inventory and prepare its distribution centers.

Generally speaking, Walmart adheres to a pattern of restocking every other Thursday at 3 p.m. ET. With that in mind, it is likely that their next drop will take place on the afternoon of September 9.

Microsoft Store Xbox Series X Restock

Microsoft's official storefront released new Xbox Series X units on Thursday, September 2. The console was briefly available for its standard price of $499 but—as has been remarked by several Twitter users—this restock was incredibly short-lived.

Luckily, there is another way of getting an Xbox from Microsoft, as you can still volunteer to trial their "Console Purchase" program. More in-depth instructions on how to do this can be found here.

Target Xbox Series X Restock

With Target no longer coordinating nationwide drops, it has become considerably harder to predict when the Xbox Series X will next be available from the retailer.

In case you are not aware, individual stores are now responsible for scheduling their own restocks, based on local supply levels. This means that you will have to regularly check Target's website to see if any outlets near you have Xbox units available.

You can narrow down your search by using the ZIP code field and it is best to do this first thing in the morning, as that is when stores usually replenish their inventories. If you do manage to find a Target location with an Xbox, bear in mind that it might only be available for in-store collection and not delivery.

Amazon Xbox Series X Restock

Amazon was selling the PS5 on Wednesday, August 25 but there is still no update on the Xbox situation. For context, you have not been able to purchase a Series X from the retailer directly since the Prime Day flash sale in June.

While second-hand units are technically available from the marketplace, you will have to purchase them from third-party scalpers, who always charge inflated prices. For example, some units are being traded for as much as $1,000.

Antonline Xbox Series X Restock

The Xbox Series X is sold out at Antonline, but there are multiple options for getting the all-digital Series S model instead.

As per our last update, the console is available in a series of bundles, with each priced at $364.98 and shipping with a different colored controller. The red bundle sold out just a few days ago, but is now back in stock and so you once again have three version to choose from here.

Newegg Xbox Series X Restock

Today's Newegg Shuffle primarily consists of PC components and there are no PS5 or Xbox bundles included.

GameStop Xbox Series X Restock

As we reported in our previous update, GameStop was recently taking pre-orders for the Halo Infinite edition of the Xbox Series X. However, these supplies have now been thoroughly depleted.

At the time of writing, there is no word on when the standard version of the console will next be in stock.

Sam's Club Xbox Series X Restock

All versions of Microsoft's next-gen console are sold out at Sam's Club. The outlet does restock on the Xbox Series S quite often though, so it is still worth keeping an eye on their website just in case.
