Xbox Series X Restock Update for Microsoft Store, Walmart, Amazon, Target and More

Following in the wake of the Gamescom showcase, demand for Xbox Series X restocks has increased dramatically.

Fans are keener than ever to get their hands on the console, so that they can experience the likes of Call of Duty: Vanguard in their next-gen iterations. Unfortunately, supplies are still incredibly limited, so you need to be quick on the draw if you hope to secure a decent bundle.

Below is the latest restock information for the Xbox Series X and Series S.

Walmart Xbox Series X Restock

Walmart restocked on the Xbox Series yesterday (August 25), at 12 p.m. ET.

This was unusual, given that the outlet normally sticks to replenishing its inventory on Thursdays. Presumably, this one-off break from the pattern was to coincide with yesterday's Gamescom broadcast, as that show generated quite a lot of hype for Xbox titles like Halo Infinite.

On that note, a new model of the Series X (themed after the upcoming first-person shooter) was announced during the presentation. Walmart was taking pre-orders for this newer version of the console last night, with the product page going live at 8:30 p.m. ET.

All versions of the Xbox Series X have now sold out at Walmart.

Microsoft Store Xbox Series X Restock

Naturally, Microsoft's own storefront began taking pre-orders for the Halo Infinite edition Xbox Series X as soon as the item was announced at Gamescom.

This inevitably sold out within minutes, but you can still buy a Series S from the Microsoft store if you are willing to settle for the less-powerful hardware.

You can also try registering for the "Console Purchase" pilot as an alternative method of getting an Xbox directly from the source. More in-depth instructions on how to do this can be found here.

Best Buy Xbox Series X Restock

While the standard Xbox Series X is not available from Best Buy at the moment, the retailer does have a product page reserved for the console's Halo Infinite version.

You cannot place a pre-order just yet—as the option is greyed out with a "coming soon" message—but it should go live soon, as it already has done on other websites. The bundle will cost $549.99 and will be shipped with a matching controller and a copy of Halo Infinite itself.

In the meantime, you can actually purchase an Xbox Series S unit from Best Buy too, for its recommended manufacture's price of $299.

Amazon Xbox Series X Restock

The restock situation at Amazon is comparable to the one at Best Buy.

Once again, the Xbox Series X is not available, but there are a few options for getting the alternative Series S console, provided that you are willing to shell out for an expensive bundle.

Meanwhile, Amazon has also created a product page for the Halo Infinite edition Xbox Series X, in anticipation of pre-orders going up imminently.

Target Xbox Series X Restock

Individual Target stores are now responsible for coordinating their own restocks, making it considerably harder to anticipate when the console will next be available.

Without nationwide drops, you will now have to make a habit of regularly checking the inventories of Target locations nearby to you. This can be done by searching via ZIP code on the retail chain's website.

Target also released pre-orders for the Halo Infinite edition Xbox Series X yesterday, but these units have already sold out.

Antonline Xbox Series X

The Xbox Series X remains unavailable from Antonline, but you can still get the Series S model in a few bundles.

When Newsweek published its last update, there were three options for procuring the cheaper hardware on the site (each priced at $364.98 and coming with a uniquely patterned controller), but your choices have now been whittled down to just two.

As such, if you are planning on getting one of these bundles, you might want to place your order sooner rather than later.

GameStop Xbox Series X Restock

The Xbox Series X was briefly available from GameStop on Tuesday, 24 August, but these supplies have now been thoroughly depleted.

The console was sold, alongside a 24-month subscription to Game Pass Ultimate, as part of the "Xbox All Access" program. This essentially means that you would have to pay it off in monthly installments of $34.99, rather than in a single transaction.

Newegg Xbox Series X Restock

Alongside the PS5, an Xbox Series X was featured in the Newegg Shuffle that took place on August 24.

This lottery draw has now closed, but you can still find a handful of Xbox units (both Series X and S) on the website. It is worth noting that these are being traded by third parties though, and might be overpriced as a result.

Sam's Club Xbox Series X Restock

At the time of writing, all Xbox bundles are displaying as sold out on the Sam's Club website.

It is still worth keeping an eye on the outlet though, as they do restock the Series S quite frequently.
