Xbox Series X Restock Update for Target, Walmart, Amazon, GameStop and More

There has been very little change since our last Xbox Series X restock update was published.

Microsoft's next-gen console remains incredibly elusive across the country and, short of buying from a third-party scalper, you do not have too many options for acquiring one. That being said, there is a chance that Walmart and Best Buy could be replenishing their inventories soon.

Below is the latest restock information for the Xbox Series X and Series S.

Best Buy Xbox Series X Restock

As per our last update, Best Buy has yet to release its Halo Infinite edition Xbox units.

The relevant product page is still displaying as "coming soon," despite the fact that most other outlets have already taken pre-orders for this particular item.

Once the specially designed console is available, it will be priced at $549.99 and bundled with a copy of Halo Infinite itself, as well as a uniquely patterned controller.

Walmart Xbox Series X Restock

There is no official word on when the next Walmart drop will be taking place.

That being said, the outlet generally restocks every other Thursday at 3 p.m. ET. Given that there was no drop last week, it is entirely feasible that Walmart will be releasing new units on Thursday, September 9.

While this is hardly guaranteed, it would be consistent with the merchant's established pattern. As such, we would recommend that you keep an eye on their website in the afternoon, just to make sure that you do not miss out.

Microsoft Store Xbox Series X Restock

The Xbox Series X was briefly available from the Microsoft Store last week.

While you wait for the next restock, you might want to consider registering for the "Console Purchase" pilot scheme. Provided that you already own an Xbox One, this gives you an alternative way of getting a Series X directly from Microsoft itself.

A more in-depth explanation of how this works can be found here.

Amazon Xbox Series X Restock

Amazon was recently selling PlayStation 5s, but it has been a while since they restocked on Xbox units specifically (the last time was during the Prime Day flash sale back in July).

For the time being, you can find the less-powerful Series S on the marketplace. The alternative model console will ship with 2 wireless controllers, a 3-month subscription to Xbox Game Pass and a Kwalicable accessory pack. This entire bundle costs $599.

Target Xbox Series X Restock

As we mentioned in our previous update, Target has scrapped its old distribution model and is now letting individual stores coordinate their own Xbox restocks.

With nationwide drops no longer occurring, you will have to get into the habit of regularly checking Target's website to see if any nearby locations are offering the Series X.

In general, it is best to do this first thing in the morning, as that is when stores will normally update their respective pages. You can use the ZIP code field to narrow down your search results too.

Incidentally, if you are fortunate enough to find an Xbox at Target, bear in mind that it might only be available for in-store collection.

Antonline Xbox Series X Restock

While the Xbox Series X remains sold out at Antonline, the Series S is available in a few bundles on the website.

These have been in stock for a number of weeks now and are all reasonably priced. For $364.98, you can get the all-digital console with an extra controller in either red, yellow or blue.

Newegg Xbox Series X Restock

Today's Newegg Shuffle does not contain any Xbox-related products, but there are a few gaming PC components up for grabs, including various motherboards, video cards and monitors.

These lottery draws are a good way of procuring next-gen consoles, but you can also order items directly from the Newegg site. However, it is worth noting that any Xbox units you find via this method will be traded by third-party resellers, who will often charge you an inflated amount.

For instance, you can currently find the item listed for an extortionate $895, and that is without any accessories or games bundled in with your purchase.

GameStop Xbox Series X Restock

GameStop was taking pre-orders for the special Halo Infinite model Xbox Series X towards the end of August.

These limited-edition units are now completely sold out and you cannot purchase the standard version of the console either.

There is currently no indication of when the next GameStop restock might occur, but dedicated console trackers like @XboxStockAlerts, @GYXdeals and @mattswider will help you get ahead of the crowds when it does happen.
