Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is due to reject an offer from China in order to stay at Old Trafford for another season, according to reports.

The Daily Mail claims that Ibrahimovic, 35, is the subject of a £120m ($149.6 m) offer from the Chinese government, who are seeking a marquee attraction for its Chinese Super League.

However, Ibrahimovic, who has 11 goals already in the English Premier League this season including two in the victory over West Bromwich Albion on Saturday at The Hawthorns, would prefer to stay for at least another season at United.

China's aggressive plans to sign talent from top European leagues have taken been stepped up in the past few weeks, with the impending transfer of Chelsea midfielder Oscar to Shanghai SIPG for a reported fee of £52m ($64.8m).
