Manchester United wants Zlatan Ibrahimovic for two more years, according to reports.

Ibrahimovic, 35, has taken the Premier League by storm in his first season in English football, scoring 14 times in the league to lead the goal charts.

The Swede is on a one-year contract at Old Trafford, but United is likely to extend that for another two seasons, according to The Sun.

Teenage sensation Marcus Rashford has been heavily praised by Jose Mourinho, but is too inexperienced to merit a full-time starting role. Club captain Wayne Rooney, meanwhile, now functions most often as an impact substitute.

United should make a move for Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann in the summer in what will likely be a world record deal. But it would still like to retain Ibrahimovic's prolific knack for improvisation, before he ends his career as expected in Major League Soccer (MLS).
