J. Lo and Ben Affleck Kissing Sparks Tidal Wave of Memes, Jokes

The Bennifer frenzy continues apace with the couple sending fans wild with their latest PDA.

That's right, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were spotted kissing at a Malibu restaurant on what looked like a romantic date night on Sunday, pretty much confirming that they are an item again.

Neither of the actors has publicly released a statement discussing the relationship but they have now been spotted going on vacation to Montana, Miami and this date night is pretty much sealing the deal.

Now, in a video obtained by Page Six, the reunited couple can be seen canoodling and kissing in public.

Lopez, 51, and Affleck, 48 were seated at Nobu restaurant, the outlet reports, along with some members of the singer's family, including her 13-year-old twins Max and Emme.

The videos and subsequent stills from the date have all but broken the internet as pop culture fans bask in the nostalgia of Bennifer 2.0.

"MY HEART OMG!!!!!" reads one viral tweet, while another shared a side-by-side comparison of their relationship in 2002 and now with the caption: "JLo and Ben Affleck: 2002 - 2021. Bennifer NEVER DIES."

One person joked: "If love is a battlefield then JLo is a five-star general."

While another sweetly added: "They're so happy together, that's all it matters."

Another tweet reads: "OMG!!! Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are kissing and shit. I loved it. Let the chaos that is #Bennifer 1.0 officially start."

"BREAKING NEWS THAT WILL MOST DEFINITELY CHANGE YOUR LIFE: Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez seen kissing. Bennifer reenters the lexicon," said another.

Another person tweeted: "And the winner of cutest photos of the year goes to Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck."

The former 'it' couple were famously engaged in the early 2000s before parting ways and each going on to get married and have children with new partners, Jennifer Garner and Mark Anthony.

Up until recently, Lopez was engaged to baseball star Alex Rodriguez with the pair calling off their engagement not long before the 'Jenny From the Block' singer rekindled things with her old flame.

Earlier this month, Affleck's father Timothy revealed he was the last to know details about his son's new relationship.

"Of course I've heard of her," the 78-year-old said of Lopez when approached by The Sun. "But I'd no idea about any of this. I talk to my kids about their lives when I see them and they share with me what they want to share."
