PS5 Restock Update for Walmart, Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy, Antonline, Costco and More

During the recent Black Friday and Cyber Monday events, there were a number of high-profile PS5 drops.

Sony's next-gen console was being sold at the likes of Walmart, Antonline, GameStop, Costco and even Amazon. Yet things appear to be settling back down now, as units are once again few and far between.

While the situation is not too great at the moment, it always helps to be prepared for any surprise stock availability. With that in mind, here is the latest PS5 restock update for all major U.S. retailers.

Walmart PS5 Restock

As we reported in our previous update, Walmart did restock the PS5 (as well as the Xbox Series X) for Cyber Monday.

However, these fresh supplies were reserved exclusively for the retail chain's "Walmart+" customers. To clarify, this was not one of those cases where premium shoppers got early access to the goods and then sales opened up to everybody else a bit later.

If you were not already paying $12.95 a month for a Walmart+ membership, then you were simply not eligible for this restock.

There are no longer any PS5 units left at Walmart, as this drop was publicized well in advance of Cyber Monday and gamers were quick to take advantage of it.

Amazon PS5 Restock

In our guide to spotting PS5 restocks, we observed that drops almost never happen on a weekend.

Of course, there are always exceptions to any rule, as was demonstrated on Saturday, November 27. Early in the afternoon, a new batch of digital edition PS5s was listed on the merchant's website.

These supplies were inevitably snapped up within minutes and you can no longer add any version of the PS5 to your basket at Amazon.

GameStop PS5 Restock

The PS5 Digital Edition was also briefly listed at GameStop on Cyber Monday, although you had to be registered for the outlet's Power Up Rewards Pro scheme to place an order.

For $724 you got the console itself, alongside a charging station for the DualSense controller, a 12-month PlayStation Plus subscription, and gift cards for both the PlayStation Store and GameStop itself.

This bundle is no longer available.

Costco PS5 Restock

Costco very rarely has the PS5 in stock, but they do occasionally update their inventory.

They did so most recently on Tuesday, October 30, when they were offering the next-gen console as part of a bundle with an additional controller and a compatible headset. Unfortunately, this item is no longer available, as the supplies have been thoroughly picked clean.

PS Direct PS5 Restock

To coordinate its PS5 drops over the holiday season, Sony's official storefront is asking consumers to express their interest via a digital form.

Filling this out does not guarantee that you will be invited to purchase a console in 2021, but it's the only way to even be considered for future PS Direct restocks. You can find more information about this here.

Antonline PS5 Restock

Antonline was one of the few retailers who actually coordinated a PS5 drop on Black Friday.

As is often the case with these things, all of the units here were depleted within the space of minutes, leaving many shoppers feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. Still, there were reportedly some wins, as a lucky handful of customers managed to add the console to their baskets before they were gone.

While the PS5 is now sold out, you can order an Xbox Series S from Antonline at the moment. This particular item ships in a bundle with cosmetic packs for both Fortnite and Rocket League.

Best Buy PS5 Restock

Likewise, the PS5 is not available at Best Buy right now, but the Xbox Series S is.

In this instance, it is just a standalone item (and not part of a bundle), going for its recommended manufacturer's cost of $299. If you are in the market for one of these cheaper consoles, you will not find a brand-new unit going for a better price elsewhere.

Sam's Club PS5 Restock

Sony's console is not available at Sam's Club at the moment either but, yet again, you can get your hands on the Xbox Series S.

If you are willing to settle for Microsoft's less powerful hardware, then you can order it in a $379 deal that comes with a wired headset and a PDP media remote.

Newegg PS5 Restock

There are no next-gen consoles (from either PlayStation or Xbox) featured in today's Newegg Shuffle. Instead, the lottery is comprised entirely of PC gaming components, like motherboards, graphics cards and Solid-State Drives (SSDs).

Although you might not have any luck today, it is always worth checking the contents of the daily Newegg Shuffle, as this can be one of the best places to find new PS5s.

You won't have to be particularly quick on the draw, as the retailer does not use a virtual queue system or rely on you being logged in at the exact right moment. All you need to do is enter the raffle at some point during the day and then hope that your name is chosen.

Target PS5 Restock

At the time of writing, neither the disc nor the digital edition of the PS5 is available at Target.
