Jurgen Klopp will have Liverpool forward Sadio Mane available for selection when Premier League leader Chelsea travels to Anfield on Tuesday, according to reports on Monday.

Mane has been on duty for Senegal at the African Cup of Nations in Gabon, unavailable for Klopp to select for the last seven matches. Liverpool has won just once in that time.

Liverpool has arranged for a private jet to fly Mane, 24, back to Merseyside from Gabon, Klopp told newspapers including Metro, in order to be ready for the match against Antonio Conte's team.

Klopp confirmed that Liverpool staff had done an "outstanding job to bring him back as soon as possible and he is now on his way."

Klopp added: "We will be in tomorrow morning and I will make a decision [on whether Mane will play.

"I will have to look into his eyes and see if it is possible."

Mane, who joined the club from Southampton in the summer, has proved an integral part of Klopp's team, which is fourth in the Premier League, 10 points behind Tuesday's opponent Chelsea. Chelsea is eight points ahead of second place Arsenal.

Klopp's team has struggled in January, having been knocked out of the EFL Cup by Southampton at the semifinal stage, and then eliminated from the FA Cup in the fourth round by Wolves.

Liverpool, fourth in the Premier League, is in the last Champions League qualification position but Manchester City is just two points behind.
