U.K. Aristocrat Who Dated Prince Andrew Calls Amber Heard 'Horrible Person'

A British socialite who dated Prince Andrew called Amber Heard "vile" and accused the Aquaman star of violence towards a former girlfriend.

Lady Victoria Hervey—who previously defended sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell—described Heard as a "horrible person," after the actress gave testimony stating ex-husband Johnny Depp physically abused her.

It is Hervey's latest comment on a major, high-profile court case after she previously promoted a conspiracy theory about the famous photo of Prince Andrew with his arm around sex-trafficking victim Virginia Giuffre.

Hervey wrote: "Pls don't defend her [Heard] she's a horrible person. She used to beat the crap out of her ex Tasya who used to go to the same yoga school I go to and show my teacher. She is vile and a pathological liar."

Newsweek approached Heard for comment.

Hervey presented no evidence to support the serious allegation leveled at Heard, who has denied being violent towards her ex.

Tasya Van Ree also dismissed a similar allegation in a 2016 statement to USA Today: "I (recall) hints of misogynistic attitudes toward us which later appeared to be homophobic when they found out we were domestic partners and not just 'friends.'

"It's disheartening that Amber's integrity and story are being questioned yet again. Amber is a brilliant, honest and beautiful woman and I have the utmost respect for her. We shared 5 wonderful years together and remain close to this day."

Meanwhile, Heard has told the court she was sexually assaulted by Depp during one violent episode in which he conducted a "cavity search" on her looking for his cocaine.

Quoted by The Guardian, Heard said: "I struggle to find the words to describe how painful this is ... this is horrible for me to sit here for weeks and relive everything, to hear people that I knew, some well, some not, my ex-husband with whom I shared a life, speak about our lives in the way they have."

She added: "This has been one of the most painful and difficult things I've ever gone through, for sure."

Hervey's post came in a reply to journalist Lucia Osborne-Crowley, who reported on the Ghislaine Maxwell trial.

Osborne-Crowley's original post read: "Let's debunk some horrendous #DeppVsHeard misinformation that has been flying around the internet and that countless people have cited to me as evidence.

"Everyone is entitled to their opinion on this case, but no-one should base that opinion on things that simply aren't true."

Hervey is a controversial figure, and among her Instagram posts, she has sought to cast doubt on the danger of war in Ukraine.

One of her stories included an image of a story about the rock band U2 performing in a Kyiv bomb shelter accompanied by the post: "Ukraine seems pretty safe with all its recent visitors? And now this."

Hervey has also previously suggested her former friend Maxwell was the victim of a "witch hunt."

The government case against Maxwell accused her of sex trafficking and grooming girls for the late Jeffrey Epstein to sexually abuse.

Hervey previously wrote on Instagram: "I know Ghislaine is obviously not a saint and should pay back the trauma caused to her 'victims' but lifetime in jail for touching a girls [breast] 20 years ago and taking them on yacht, private jet and shopping trips.

"Come on. This has become a witch hunt."

Hervey was interviewed for the BBC documentary Ghislaine, Prince Andrew and the Paedophile and said she had been used as bait by Epstein.

The aristocrat said: "Jeffrey was really the frontman and Ghislaine was the accomplice. It was kind of like a Batman and Robin but they were a double act. I don't think Jeffrey could have done any of it without Ghislaine.

"I think he kind of sat back and waited for her to sort of go fishing and go find however many girls we needed to entertain his friends.

"I think I was pretty much used as bait looking back at it. I was really young and naive and she's entertaining the big businessmen."
