Xbox Series X Restock Update for Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, Target, GameStop and More

Xbox Series X supplies remain thin on the ground at the moment, but we will hopefully be seeing some movement at Best Buy in the near future. Otherwise, you can find the less powerful Xbox Series S at a handful of retailers across the country.

Below is a breakdown of the latest information on Xbox Series X restocks.

Best Buy Xbox Series X Restock

Reliable tracker Matt Swider (whose forecasts are usually accurate) is suggesting that Best Buy might be the most likely candidate for an Xbox Series X restock this week.

Lately, the merchant's drops have been considerably more frequent than everywhere else's, with Best Buy often selling the Xbox on a weekly basis. Unfortunately, this also means that it is difficult to anticipate precisely when the console might be available, as the restock pattern can fluctuate.

While the date itself is hard to predict, Swider has pointed out that Best Buy typically conducts its restocks between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET, so you can at least narrow it down to daylight hours.

To be alerted as soon as Best Buy releases more PS5 units, consider following Swider himself (@mattswider) and fellow restock tracker @GYXdeals on Twitter.

Walmart Xbox Series X Restock

There was a short-lived restock at Walmart last week, but any featured Xbox units have depleted incredibly fast.

As always, you can technically get the console from the website if you are willing to buy it from a third-party reseller, but you will need to pay a jacked-up price in this scenario.

For instance, many of the second-hand Xbox Series X units that are listed at Walmart cost more than $850 (without peripheral of games included) and even the cheaper Series S model can be found for an overpriced $389.95.

There is currently no word on when the next official Walmart restock will occur, but it is always on Thursday, and it is always at 3 p.m. ET.

Antonline Xbox Series X

The Xbox Series X is out of stock at Antonline, but there are multiple options for getting your hands on the less powerful Series S. If you do not mind the lower specs and the absence of a disc drive, then you might want to consider these deals.

There are currently three separate bundles listed on the site, each of which comes with an extra controller. The only difference between them is the color of this spare accessory, as you can get it in blue, red or yellow. No matter which one you choose, the price will remain the same at $364.98.

Microsoft Store Xbox Series X Restock

Microsoft's official storefront has been intermittently restocking on both the Xbox Series X and the Series S over the last couple of weeks. Drops for the latter are particularly common now, so it is worth keeping an eye on their website.

Otherwise, you can try volunteering for the new "Console Purchase" pilot as an alternative way of getting an Xbox directly from the source. To do this, you will need to have access to an Xbox One console and the Insider's Hub app. More in-depth instructions can be found here.

Target Xbox Series X Restock

Target has permanently changed its distribution model for the Xbox Series X and is no longer coordinating nationwide drops.

As such, you will need to get into the habit of regularly checking the console's availability at local stores. You can search by ZIP code on the retail chain's official website to do this.

Generally speaking, it seems that the best time to check the nearby inventory levels is early in the morning, as this is when most locations update their stock.

Newegg Xbox Series X Restock

The last time that an Xbox Series X was featured in a Newegg Shuffle was Wednesday, July 21.

In case you are not aware, these "shuffles" are essentially lottery draws that you can enter for a chance at purchasing their contents (usually in-demand electronics). The system is considered to be fairer than a standard virtual line, as it is much harder for scalpers to exploit and does not rely on you being online at the exact moment that a restock occurs.

For timely updates on when the next Xbox Series X shuffle will be running, follow dedicated console trackers like @mattswider and @GYXdeals and turn on notifications.

Amazon Xbox Series X Restock

There has not been an Xbox Series X restock at Amazon since Prime Day over a month ago. This means that the marketplace is long overdue to be selling the next-gen console, yet there is currently no indication of when that might actually occur.

In the meantime, you can find the odd second-hand unit on the website that is being traded by an independent scalper. However, like at Walmart, these will always be going for an extortionate amount of money. Some of them even cost up to $959.99 which, for context, is nearly double the recommended price.

GameStop Xbox Series X Restock

As per our previous updates, you can still buy an Xbox Series S from GameStop, bundled together with a three-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. This will set you back $344.98.

The Xbox Series X is not available.

Costco Xbox Series X Restock

Neither the Xbox Series X nor the Series S are available at Costco right now. If the merchant's inventory is replenished anytime soon, @mattswider and @GYXdeals will be the first to let you know.
