Mantamados, Greece Greek police, on February 26, fought with demonstrators who were protesting the construction of a new migrant camp near Mantamados on the northeastern Aegean island of Lesbos. The Greek islands of Lesbos, Chios and Samos staged a general strike. Small groups of protesters threw stones and even fire bombs at police who fought back with tear gas and flash grenades.
