After almost two years of waiting, The Umbrella Academy Season 3 is coming to Netflix just in time for Summer, on Wednesday, June 22.
Fans have already been treated to a short teaser trailer, where the Hargreeve family come face to face with The Sparrows, another group of siblings with superpowers.
Even better, in the weeks leading up to the premiere, some first-look photos of the cast are starting to drop and on Tuesday, April 30, Elliot Page released a first-look picture of Victor Hargreeves.
In the first two seasons of The Umbrella Academy, Page played the role of Vanya, one of the most powerful Hargeeves siblings, who for so long, though they had no powers whatsoever until at the end of Season 1, Vanya (also known as Number 7) caused an apocalypse.
In December 2020, Page announced on social media he is transgender and non-binary, expressing the happiness he felt at having "arrived at this place in my life," and fans have been speculating how and if his transition will be addressed in Season 3.
Now, Page can confirm fans will be introduced to Victor Hargreeves.
Announcing the news via his Instagram and Twitter accounts, Page shared the image of Victor sitting with his sister Allison Hargreeves (played by Emmy Raver Lampman) with the caption: "Meet Viktor Hargreeves" alongside the purple umbrella emoji.
Page's Umbrella Academy co-stars were the first to show a whole load of support following Page's post, as well as a whole host of celebrities who were quick to praise the Viktor Hargreeves reveal.
Emmy Raver Lampman, who plays Allison Hargreeves in The Umbrella Academy wrote: "I love you" under Page's post and Ben Hargreeves star Justin H. Min wrote: "leather jacket brothers."
Raver also shared the post on her own Instagram stories, writing: "Introducing...Viktor Hargreeves!"
British actress Ritu Arya who plays Lila Pitts in The Umbrella Academy, penned: "love you" in response to Page's post and Sissy star Marin Ireland praised Page with some fire and love heart emojis.
The Umbrella Academy's showrunner Steve Blackman commented on a series of red love hearts and reposted Page's photo on his own Instagram stories in support and writer Jeff F. King wrote "Hello Viktor!" underneath the post.
Training Day's Justin Cornwell, who has joined the cast of The Umbrella Academy Season 3 as Marcus, the leader of the Sparrow Academy, also showed his support in the comment section on Instagram, as well as Rainbow Sun Francks who played Detective Chuck Beaman in Season 1 of The Umbrella Academy, penning "Yes, Viktor!"
Last but not least, The Umbrella Academy creator, Gerard Way posted the image to his own Instagram feed, with the caption: "Everyone say hello to Viktor Hargreeves."
Julia Garner, who recently starred as Anna Delvey in Inventing Anna, commented: "YESSS" under Page's Instagram ost, alongside three fire emojis.
Indya Moore, best known for their role as Angel Evangelista in Pose, commented: "Omgg" under the image, followed up by a whole row of red love hearts and 13 Reasons Why star Tommy Dorfman also shared her excitement, writing: "AHHHHOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG"
Emily in Paris star, Ashley Park wrote "YES YES YES" and Spanish actor, Javier Calvo commented with a big "Yeeeeeees."
Exactly how Victor will be introduced in Season 3 of The Umbrella Academy remains unknown, but luckily fans do not have too much longer to wait for the new series to drop.
The Umbrella Academy Season 3 premieres Wednesday, June 22 on Netflix.
