Updated | May is the fourth month to hold primaries and caucuses in the 2016 presidential race. It's another step closer to determining which two candidates will face off in the November 8 election. The Democratic National Committee is expected to announce soon the details of a May debate between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders.

Here's a look at the upcoming primaries and caucuses:

May 3: Indiana primary (poll hours: 6 a.m.-6 p.m. local time)

May 6-7: Maine Democratic State Convention

May 7: Guam Democratic caucus (begins at 10 a.m. local time)

May 10: Nebraska Republican primary (poll hours: 7 a.m.-8 p.m. local time, depending on split time zone); West Virginia primary (poll hours: 6:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. local time)

May 13-15: Republican Nevada State Convention

May 14: Kansas Republican State Convention

May 17: Kentucky Democratic primary (poll hours: 6 a.m.-6 p.m. local time); Oregon primary (poll hours: 7 a.m.-8 p.m. local time); Megyn Kelly's interview with Donald Trump

May 20-May 22: Illinois Republican Convention

May 21: Maryland State Democratic Party's Central Committee meeting; Pennsylvania Republican summer meeting

May 24: Washington State Republican primary (poll hours: 7 a.m.-8 p.m. local time)

May 25: Clinton interview on The Ellen Show

May 28: Wyoming Democratic State Convention
