Eden Hazard seems to have stirred up his dispute with Jose Mourinho once again in what appears to be a veiled dig at the former Chelsea boss.

After winning the Premier League together at Stamford Bridge in 2015, midfielder Hazard and Mourinho's relationship soured as the Belgian's performances for Chelsea declined.

Speaking on international duty, Hazard explained why the team has had a perfect start to this Premier League season under new manager Antonio Conte. "We give everything for him," he told L'Equipe.

Despite failing to score for Chelsea last season before Mourinho's sacking in December, Hazard insisted that his game has not changed.

"I'm still the same player," he said. "Conte is giving us confidence after a poor season. Conte knows footballers, because he was once a footballer."

It appears to be a suggestion that Mourinho's lack of a playing career had an impact on how he and Chelsea performed last season under the Portuguese manager.
